Receive a £1 statement credit for every £3 spent in Starbucks, upto a maximum £5 statement credit. So spend £15 get £5 back. Valid until 19 June. Terms state not available to Lloyd's or Barclaycard Amex members.
You only get £1 for any amount over £3.
To get the £5 in credit back you will need to spend 5 lots of £3.

Seems we're quite divided on this one. Thought I'd do a test seeing the behavior when topping up online - https://www.starbucks.co.uk with an amount of £6.
* Does the offer track online? Yes - I received a notification email.
* Do I earn £2 cashback on a single transaction spend of £6? UPDATE - Yes, 4 days later £2 credit is showing on my account. In conclusion - go ahead and top up £15 online and you'll get £5 back.

Not unless you can keep adding £3 to a gift card to add up to £15.
You only get £1 back per transaction of £3 or over, not £1 for every £3 (Unless you do 5 separate transactions for £3 or over)

A £15 giftcard would be sensible if available?
Or top up you loyalty card?

Thanks - on all 3 Amex issued cards - https://amexoffers.uk/starbucks/ No link to enrol others yet, or for non Amex issued cards (e.g. MBNA, Lloyds, TSB and Barclays Amex cards).

Misleading deal tbh, you get £1 back when you spend over £3, you don't get £1 for every £3 you spend (Unless you do five separate transactions of £3)

I've gotta vote cold here. You have to hit multiples of £3 to make it pay. Spend £5.99 and you only get a quid back.. spend £6.01 and you need to split the transaction. It's not great for an Amex offer.

Conflicting t&c's then.
On my saved offer:
I've no doubt Amex would honour the £5 if you made a £15 (or more) purchase. Their customer service is excellent.

If you didn't get £2 back for a £6.01 spend, I'd bet that Amex would honour it. But obviously £1 for a £5.99 spend.

Many people routinely split an order into multiple orders to get extra stars on their Starbucks account. Store staff are quite used to this, so should work with an Amex card as well if required.

Get £1 back for every £3 spent, or just don't spend £3 in the first place, I've done this for years at Starbucks, just walked past the door and not even gone in, must have saved tens of thousands of £'s. I'm not Warren Buffet but I'm not far off I reckon.
I've voted this deal hot as if I ever give up drinking, I'll be straight in there for a coffee and one of those glaciated buns.

Why over? It says specifically "for every £3". Anyway, never understood why people spend money on overpriced coffee, probably because they are getting usless stars for more overpriced stuff

Why do you assume that? Spent over £6 in one purchase and just got £2 credit.

Like I said, see comment#5.
You asked why I thought that and I pointed you towards their terms and conditions that state what I've put.
They've either messed up and given you the money when they shouldn't have, or they've messed up the terms.

Not sure I agree, I read it as you can get £1 back up to 5 times doesn't state how many purchases. Each to their own, worked as I expected.

It's not tracked to show the cashback in my account to yet, I will post back as soon as it does, hopefully in the next couple of days. As above though the offer definitely works online, whether the T&C say so or not.

Added £15 to my cards a few days ago took a while to actually show as a transaction and no cash back. Sent them a message and the cash back, £5 hit the account the same day

Cheers, good article. As now expected from that, 4 days after my spend of £6, £2 credit shows. Just to confirm, I did this online via the Starbucks website. Maybe I have the exclusive scoop on that bit for HUKD  I've updated my previous post too.
