This sale has been going on a while now. I've had a few items so can give some pointers:
- The organic long sleeve t-shirt is very long in the sleeves but it shrinks somewhat in the wash to look acceptable. Lovely, soft cotton.
- In general the sizes run slightly small, but not by much, for menswear anyway
- The Hammer t-shirt in acid-wash grey is the pick. For £4 you wont get cooler. Very thick cotton and a good cut.
- The regular t-shirts are very thin. Too thin for me. Would suit slimmer people better perhaps.
- The t-shirts run a longer length than the usual high street stuff. Good for me as most t-shirts shrink to too short for my average torso (I shrink everything in the wash)
- If in doubt on sizing, get the larger size
- The power wash t-shirts are nicer than the regular ones IMO, although the neck line can run wide
- No two of the same item run to exactly the same size/cut. It's a bit of a lottery because of the way these are made, partly by hand in a factory in LA.
- The hoodies are ace, sort of design classics. You can see them in many a Hollywood movie.
Hope that helps

That's the style. It's a reaction against the usual. I love AA for that, and for paying their workers a decent wage with benefits. The big downside of AA is the shade cast by Dov Charney, former boss who faced a few sexual harrassment charges towards employees. He's long gone now though.

My order arrived this afternoon - I placed the order exactly a week ago and got the order dispatch last Tuesday evening.
There is no indication on the packaging that it was delivered from the States, so I suspect it was delivered from the UK and delivery is just a bit slow.
Extremely pleased with my order of 7 different garments and sizing is spot on (medium size for a lean 6 foot male). Ideally, I don't want any shrinkage, but I fear that some of the items will become too snug when washed.
Many thanks to the OP for posting the deal.

What happens, typically, is, they bulk send orders in a batch to the UK, then once landed in the UK and customs-cleared it moves to the final delivery to customers.
As for shrinkage, I've never had any issues with their stuff. Only had their 2001 t-shirts and Flex hoodies, though.

It did at the time of the deal, I ordered 3rd May and for example one item "MT497 - Salt and Pepper Zip Hoodie" is £14 on the site but I paid £11.90 after using the code.

Ordered on the 3rd, shipped on the 4th and still haven't received my order. Must admit it has put me off using them again. I assumed they have a UK warehouse and hadn't realised the stuff comes from America. It would be helpful if you could track your parcel as 6 working days after shipping is quite a while and you have no way of knowing if your package is in a warehouse or been delivered to the wrong address.

Just received my 3 fleece hoodies. Really thin with strings of thread here and there, pretty crap. And the zip is on the wrong way round! Are these free returns?

Just received my order this morning. Really pleased with the stuff and the sizing is spot on, should have ordered more!

received it today. t-shirts and hoodies have very plain design and are made of very thin material. was not sure about the sizes so ordered 1 size bigger so everything is very loose, will probably return it. they have an option 'return to store' so will avoid postage fee:)

I've got mine through DPD. The quality is not great to be fair, but they were cheaper than a dust cloth so , all good.

With these poor reviews not sure if I want my package to turn up or be lost and get a refund. I checked online about the quality, never having bought AA before, and most reviews were very good, so I'll be disappointed if the stuff turns out to be poor quality. Wonder who buys it at full price in the shops if the quality is poor? Same people who buy full price Hollister stuff I suppose. Thank goodness I paid Primark level prices.

Mine finally arrived. The cheaper hoodies are a bit thin but seem good for summer. A couple of strands of cotton on the neck of one but the rest are fine. Quite pleased with them really.

My stuff finally arrived this afternoon. Ordered on the 3rd, arrived on the 13th. Quality wise, I would agree with the recent comments - the t shirts and hoodies are thin, but stitching quality OK. The sizing seems a bit random in that ones of the same size clearly aren't, some Large certainly being larger than others. I ordered an xl hoody and it's huge. Possibly xxl Americans like to think they are a bit smaller.
Overall, I'm happy for £3 a t shirt, which as I said previously is Primark prices, and these are better than Primark. I think I hoped they would be heavier cotton though. I think I would be very disappointed if I'd paid £16 for one as they don't feel like an expensive garment. But at least they aren't made in sweat shops (supposedly).
If you want heavy cotton white t shirts, you can't beat the Kirkland own brand sold in Costco at about £12 for three. Shame they aren't available in more colours.

Also got mine today but TWO of the shirts out of the four i ordered had defects and the sizing is inconsistent even though the quality is good. Dissapointed but emailed them, we'll see what happens

My thoughts: I bought a few jogging bottoms (for inside the house) and a few tshirts and hoodies. I made sure I only bought the 100% cotton ones and the quality is absolutely fine for the price I paid, wouldn't have paid the full price though.
I bought one of each size though as I didn't know what their sizes were like. I could swear it said FREE RETURNS in the top right hand corner of the website, which has now disappeared, but it now appears you have to pay return postage yourself.

I got my parcel via RM. But it took one week. So i am not sure if its 1st class... anyway they shipped from London shop. Everything without tags and without plastic bags. Just got mine stuff inside big envelope..
I didnt get shoes but they mention that it will be resend to me. So what abt return because i have one size hoodie. I am size s and this hoodie is to small on my chest.. so i dont think so its a one size (they wrote down size s-l can fit).

Considering I am a size large, the hoodies felt like a xl on me, ah well decent quality for the price I paid
Glad that it's not just me who found that the t shirts are small but the hoodies are huge. As mentioned they come without tags or bags, badly folded - had to iron my t shirts and hoodies before they were wearable. Mine arrived loose in a cardboard box. Shame the sizes are all over the place but good for the price.

Seen the first warning on a few other products on there too, including belts.
Didn't seem too bad to me on my phone, except: 555 sale items with no way to filter by gender, size or clothing type... that's pants (and not in the American sense)

£19 incl postage, many thanks OP
Mine shipped May 3rd RM 1st class Recorded but I've yet to receive it.
Customer services told me that item is shipped from U.S. and only gets a tracking no when it gets to UK. They told me they would email me again when in U.K.
If it was really sent using RM first class then it would have arrived already.
I emailed them asking about delivery and they said 5-7 working days. I also asked about import duties but they ignored that question.
As for shrinkage, I've never had any issues with their stuff. Only had their 2001 t-shirts and Flex hoodies, though.
