Either I am being stupid or this seems like a incredible deal, 2 days entry to Alton Towers (granted it will be very busy in school holidays) plus a hotel close to the theme park!
Drive to theme park, spend the day, sleep, back to theme park spend the day, home......collapse :)
it is a basic hotel, Kids aged between 3-11

As far as the bad press goes we still need to support this park. the U.K. is better place with this park.

Probably not the best year to go with young family's as there are a lot of refurb / closed rides...

Burton Travelodge at £30, so £50x2 plus 2nd day a discounted price from inside park. Sorry, but normal price.

Thanks, unfortunately that date is too far, by then I would have broke up with the current gf! Need a Jun date. Don't know if prices change often but so far no deal so will keep checking!

Went up this week as it goes, pretty much walked straight onto every ride! Can't bear the thought of being there in the peak school holidays, good luck to those who go!

Can I buy this, but only go with my girlfriend?

Yes, if it is only the two of you, you'd change the package. It lists as £99 when I just checked for the same hotel etc.
Exact same offering but for £99, same dates etc.

Don't know. Why don't you go and have a look and share with us.

Given how busy it traditionally has been in the past during term breaks, and the 1-3 hour average queue times for pretty much everything, a two day 'break' really will have you collapsing

Just remember to sit at the back on the rides.

Buy your tickets on eBay there cheap as chips. I would highly recommend staying in the hotel at Alton towers if you have kids, they would love it.

Stay out of the pub there, you might get legless.

Travelodge for £19 a night through school holidays? I doubt it...
2 for 1 are on full price tickets on the door price at £50 so you need two tickets per day £100 before you add in second day price and hotel

Use code SUN50 to get 50% off Alton towers hotel stays. (If this is still valid)

where do you add codes?

never got this code to work-and when you phone up, the "discounted" price is ridiculous, and that's if you find a date avail.
Don't see the deal here, can't you get travellodges from £19 a night?? and AT tickets should be 2 for 1 at the most, and when in, you can buy next day tickets for £5/£10??
So pretty much normal price??

£12 parking.. Really. What a joke. Used to like going to Alton Towers but it's just one big expense and what with the failings of their rides. It does not fill you with confidence.
Edit: Just read above. Still £6 a day is stupid when you pay so much to get in! My opinion.

Indeed. Going to Alton Towers these days could cost you an arm and a leg.

Think it's a joke really. Not like there's a lot near by. Understand if people could use it to go to other places. It's there way of easy money though as you have to put your car somewhere if you have gone in one! Interesting people have avoided paying like this.

So, depends on your balls, just reading around several people have turned up at the barrier and refused to pay, and told the guard that if he refuses to open the barrier they are committing an offence of false imprisonment
others have said no money etc
they were let out
