They are no longer French. Owned by Chinese company like TCL. Most EU consumer electronics/WGA companies are now dead or been bought by Asian companies.

8GB, far too small nowadays. The OS seems to take up about 3GB. Still, good if you're ok with that I guess.

I always had a soft spot for Alcatel...no idea why. At the same time this is a decent 10" tablet for light users. Not for me personally but I'm sure there are plenty of users who would be perfectly happy with this tablet.
