I recently indulged in the pistons 3 after reviews from here, but was disappointed with the SQ compared to my previous CX 300 II. I thought the design factor for the pistons though were better, especially the braided cable sleeve, but the sound lacked detail, even at that pricepoint , it just sounded louder....(the CX300II were on offer @ argos for a tenner a while ago, but i missed it).
Oh and the left side stopped working after a week but i got a full refund from gearbest (that was a palava).

I'm not sure why. They aren't the same. They are much larger and not as suitable for wearing in bed at night for certain.

Have you tried changing the ear tips? The shape of them fitted in my ear, but the material was too slippery, so they kept falling out. I got some foam ear tips from eBay and they now fit perfectly.

What do you mean by "ultra small"?
I don't have particularly narrow ear-holes but I do need some short earbuds that I can listen to satnav through in my snug-fit motorbike helmet. Can anyone say if these would be good for that?
