Used to be £1. You can get the 4kg bags from Asian shops for £1-£1.20 if you have some in your area.

It's the same price or even more expensive than in local groceries -so NOT lot cheaper than
anywhere else -unless you only shop in supermarkets like Tesco /Asda / Sainsburys that have all fruit and veg with 500% profit margin
