This Sparks card is too complicated, smacks of smoke and mirrors...........

Absolutely - keep having to log in every few days to activate another offer. At least Waitrose keep your 10 offers for a few months or more.

New offers are every Thursday. You'll need to create an M&S account on the website to register and activate offers. Only downside is the offers are often too niche, offering 20% off a very particular product which is of very little interest to many.
Personally I think the card should incorporate a discount element when certain points are achieved similarly to other retailers (Boots for example) - it seems because they have their own banking products that offer these features they completely overlooked it for what is meant to be a loyalty card but instead feels like a cheap attempt to get people's details to push marketing with the occasional decent offer.

I've just passed the 17000 sparks threshold. what can I do with it? I had an email about passing 14000 sparks even though I passed that a while ago. they don't seem too switched on!
