BACK IN STOCK - I was just checking out niceroundpound's fab post for a hammock at this ebay store & I noticed they had an offer of 12 Classic Checked Super Absorbent Tea Towels for £9.99 del (down from £12.99), then realised it was actually a BOGOF offer too, so they will send 24 of the tea towels for £9.99 Delivered, thought it a decent deal at just 41.6p per towel. Obviously not deal of the century but thought it worth sharing, my husband is always "borrowing" my tea towels for something or other & if he does return them then they are usually covered in black gunk or similar, so we go through them at a fair rate of knots.

Crumbs, you must indeed be a tea towel connoisseur, able to tell that just from a picture. The seller has been selling them for quite a while & has excellent feedback for them, hopefully they can't all be wrong  I think that they will be like most tea towels, not much to look at until they have been washed for the first time, indeed similar to myself, not much to look at normally but scrub up fairly well

It brightens up my world when I hear that someone derives great enjoyment from buying tea towels.

I live on my own. I think 24 tea towels may be slight overkill.

Very disappointed with these, not super absorbent at all, leaves fluff on dishes, overall not happy.

I always say " never buy cheap toilet paper or carrier bags, cause they are both bound to rip at the worst possible moment!"

Used Y fronts are good for soaking up spilled liquids, even better when you wash them before using

Thanks for this - needed some more tea towels...different colours too! Very excited and can't wait to receive delivery. Going to let the washing up pile up for a few days, just so I can try them out properly...half term week as well, so the kids can help too - wait until I tell them; they'll be so happy when they arrive.

Understand it's Coopers of Stortford who are the seller. They're a reputable company from what I've gathered.

By the look of these towels, these are rubbish. They don't soak up water. No good when needing to dry the dishes or surfaces.

Bought these before, they just soak the water up, and can only use them once .
They did not last long as they had holes in them after a few washes .
