Not really. With unlimited data and more and more people using services such as Whatsapp etc, I don't see the need for lots of minutes. The same with texts too. I guess we all use our phones differently, but i'd rather unlimited data, over minutes.
Also, to offset the 200 minutes, you can try and see if they'll add 2000 3 to 3 minutes which may help a little depending who you call.

I'm on this deal (£20) having swapped from the One Plan when I got 'the letter' about a month back, was on the One plan for years and hardly use any minutes each month. Now the wife is on it too (£18 as there's an existing customer in the household). She was tied in to EE for 2 years previously, and always needed more data than her miserly contract afforded. Plus, we visit France a lot and EE like to charge silly, silly money for data use abroad. Now the two of us can use our phones as we do in the UK, in lots of countries around the world (bar tethering outside of the UK). Much better, and we each have 30 Gb of data to tether if need be.
Typical up/down speeds here at home. Quicker than our fibre broadband.

I wonder why it's only Three who ever offer unlimited data, does anyone know a genuine reason - other than others don't so they can charge more for less? I'm limited to Vodafone or EE, I had a good deal with O2 until I moved but I can't get a signal until I'm miles from home, my wife was with Three and she had to change for the same reason. My Vodafone 3G speeds are way faster than my home internet - I'm lucky if I get 1meg - I doubt they will give us 4G anytime soon but having unlimited data would be very useful. So frustrating. It's annoying when I see people complain about there internet speeds 'only' being 30 or 40 meg, how I wish!

Basically they offered me this deal for £20 after bumping up the prices from my £12.90 plan. I sent a complaint form and got a call back and got offered it for £12 no idea how but obviously accepted it lol. So anyone who has had their tarrif bumped up don't accept £20 ... fill in a complaint form and get it cheaper. My deal of £12 was mistakenly offered to me but they decided to honour it however I got told that this plan was being offered at £15 - whether it still is I don't know but worth trying. If initial bill of 285 was wrong I would of cancelled direct debit and only paid once bill was correct... I was also under assumption any incorrect direct debit must be corrected by your bank immediately so your story sounds strange to be honest .

I've had a Three AYCE PAYG for 5 years at £15 pm. Recent price hike to £20 then a 12GB data limit made me think about looking elsewhere. Vodafone ****. O2 patchy. So EE the only option but more expensive & **** signal at my works. Rang 3 customer service & was immediately offered this monthly contract & got 10% discount as Wife & children also on 3. £18 unlimited data & texts & 200 minutes plus 30GB tethering betters anything on the market.
For those that say 3 signal is no good I've never had any issues (when friends with me at various locations on other networks do have signal problems.) There are exceptions. Fast moving trains for instance (but I think every network struggles with that.)
For those who think 3 customer service is **** I would say on the 3 or 4 occasions I've had to ring over the years they have always resolved the issue immediately despite this being an offshore service. This month's change from PAYG to pay monthly went seamlessly including the porting of my existing mobile number within 24 hours of ringing.
All in all I'd say 3 are the best network for signal quality with a service that at the very least matches the other networks & also the right price (for me certainly.) so have some heat Op.

I've had a nightmare with 3. I was on a monthly rolling at £15 a month... left with 30 days notice. Received a bill for early termination of 285. Phoned up to check and they told me it was an error (meant to be 15). Anyway, direct debit date came round and there we go - taken 285 off me. From letter to direct debit, 2-3 weeks. From debit to now, 3 going on 4 weeks. They issued a refund... to my defunct three account (I've been on BT since) I'd then got back in touch and asked to send to my bank.. they agreed. Meant to be last Monday. Got back in touch Friday and apparently the withdrawal was accidentally refused... so here I am now, complaining. I haven't even been offered compensation either for time spent chasing it up and being out of pocket 285. Good network, shocking systems.

Been with Three for a while now. Had this plan when it was £12.90 and then had to leave cause had poor service. Came back to same plan for £15 been on that for a couple years. Asked for my PAC code too see what they could offer me (I did need more minutes). Ended up getting unlimited everything for £20 a month on a 12 month contract. Really happy with the network. Fast speeds and 4g in a lot of areas.

P2P is what is stated, but any data-heavy non-browsing use was dropped like a brick immediately after 3pm and lifted immediately after midnight. I could run a speedtest.net check at 14:59 and pull 15Mbps; but run the same test at 15:01 and it was down to less than 1Mbps, and that is with no other active app usage. The impact on browsing was irritating, but on-handset YT was frequently unwatchable. This was my experience every day, regardless of handset used (even temp borrowed a 3-branded handset but no change). Also changed APN to the one that bypasses parental controls, but no difference. Would have been very receptive to advice on how to remedy.

My experience from less than 12m ago on an AYCE data pay monthly contract was heavy throttling between 3-midnight every day, as repeated in 3's KFI here dated March 2016. Just wanted to know if it had changed. It would appear not.
Have a little check on your online account. There should be a tab that is along the lines of change price plan. I was able to change it online and stay on the same pricing.

Just seen Coreydeals answer by the link they do throttle but afaik they didn't i was with them for 6yrs and had unlimited data and my speeds where really good all the time apart from it the network went down which only happened a couple of times.

It's the only deal in the UK with truly unlimited data, the other companies that offer unlimited data cap approx 2-4gb of your unlimited data as 4g and the remainder of the month you have 3G, some companies even have a time of day cap. So Three is the best for truly unlimited 4G data

This month's change from PAYG to pay monthly went seamlessly including the porting of my existing mobile number within 24 hours of ringing.
All in all I'd say 3 are the best network for signal quality with a service that at the very least matches the other networks & also the right price (for me certainly.) so have some heat Op.
200 mins is enough for me and my although my tethering is meant to be capped it never drops when I check my account so it's unlimited
Think to think about for yourself is how good is three in your area? For me Vodafone is very poor in my area but doesn't mean it's a bad network just mean it's bad for my area.
Took this contract out about 2 years ago mind
I make less than 200 mins of calls a month
Do you wear knickers, my missus could talk a glass eye to sleep
Makes it £15.80 a month, but has someone has pointed out, the cashback from Quidco isnt guaranteed like this deal. Possibly why the other deals gone stone cold.
Don't people people use Skype, instant messaging and other social media for communication these days ? Or am I just to old...
"Inclusive UK data: All-you-can-eat. On our All-you-can-eat data plans, you can use up to 30GB of your data each month to create a Personal Hotspot within the UK."

I only left in jan because they wouldn't match ID price so i left and i am now with ID which runs of three anyway and no different in signal and speed.

I only use around 3gb tethering a month, but you never know in the future (especially with two 7 year old twins with tablets  ).
Im guessing to get round the tethering limit you would have to install a non Three software on the phone and would not be able to take advantage of the 800mhz (band 20) 4G and SuperVoice?
Also, to offset the 200 minutes, you can try and see if they'll add 2000 3 to 3 minutes which may help a little depending who you call.
Did this deal come with 12gb tethering, the new 30gb tethering or no tethering?
