Picks for me being;
Alien Isolation
Assassins Creed Black Flag Special Edition
Assassins Creed Unity Revolution Edition
Destiny (if you need it)
Far Cry 4
Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor
The Evil Within

Alien, Far Cry, Wolfenstein & Shadow of Mordor are easily worth the money. Fantastic games.
I'd stay clear of Knack though as it is on PS+ next month.

Hi, I would agree with you, however the store is selling me one game for £15 and the other (cheapest) half price for £5.
That is £20. I think he said 20 something.

nicblaney

Just buy one get one half price in store. Bigger selection naturally with some games priced fairly reasonable for a high street retailer. Pretty close to second hand eBay prices from the titles that stood out to me. Worth a look if you fancy the thrill of a shop purchase as opposed to the postman chucking them through your letterbox!

Why even bother using this site if that's your attitude to shopping. Why buy loads of stuff that you know you may not use just because it is cheap. That indicates to me that you have issues.
This site is fantastic if you are well organised and use it to keep purchasing costs down for things you NEED, and planning ahead for birthdays, Xmas etc but just to buy any old crap that you wont use because you visit here and see a deal is a total waste of your money.

7 May 16#49
You say you bought it new so the game was shrink wrapped. It is hardly games fault that you got a factory dud
On another note what's the point in posting used games titles as limited edition etc. Games are second hand so the codes will be used in most cases. It's misleading to the community
Pacman786

Up and down, but if you get a scratched one you can take it into store and they'll replace it or polish it. That said, the PS4 X1 games I've had have all been good. I think the surface coating is harder to scratch than the PS360 discs.

7 May 16#30
Agreed. Brilliantly designed, tense, satisfying, and darkly atmospheric. I have a few issues with it, such as length and pacing, but for what the game gives you, it is almost unrivalled in tension and player engagement. I believe it is a game everybody should at least try. Top stuff!

As someone that adores the feeling of powerlessness that games like Outlast are designed around, I would say Alien Isolation would not give you the sense of power you are looking for. The weapons, until later in the game, are a sure way to get yourself killed. A flamethrower that you get later in the game can scare away the alien, but until then, weapons are, more often than not, useless in most situations. A crafting system allows you to make distractions and useful explosives, but you never feel that you can outgun your enemies.

Spark
7 May 16#34
At a guess I am going to say that the field of view is responsible for this in your case. It varies between game (cod for example is known for using a limited FoV).
You might be better off with PC gaming because almost all PC first person games allow you to change the FoV as per your own comfort and preference.
Games like Dying Light and Mirror's Edge tend to be the worst though because they move very quickly, use a shaky camera and their FoV is huge.

I suppose there is always a chance. It's not like you have anything to lose. As for Alien Isolation inducing motion sickness, any first-person game has the potential to do so but it is extremely rare. Extremely.
