I saw around 40-50 packs in Watford Tesco so must be national deal. Available in multiple flavors.
Excellent price! One of the best protein powders available. I would either go for "my protein" or "ON" only.

Larger tubs I usually buy are 5kg which makes this £77.03 unless my maths is wrong. Is this any better than alternatives because cheaper can be had elsewhere.

Superb price. This works out at £35 per 5lbs if you want to compare it price wise to the larger tubs.

For some this is a cracking deal, but a bit watery for my taste... Matrix nutrition hands down is the best I've tried

Not as cheap as myprotein (that I use) but it is better imo , just usually too pricey but hot at that price...
Still expensive for nothing more than fart powder.

Works out at £34.97 for 2.27kg, which is a fair bit more expensive than the Amazon banana price of £27.99 mentioned by Zed in post #8.
I'd go with Amazon personally..

That £19 deal for 2.27kg that I posted doesn't look like it's coming back anytime soon on Amazon lol!
What about Maxi Cyclone instead? 1.26kg for £11.25 through subscribe and save when you click the 50% off voucher.
No increase? None at all? man, I guess i'll have to look elsewhere. Thanks for the info. :smirk:

I know it's not steroids but how good is this for your heart and arteries etc?

It's protein which has essentially been made from milk. It's no worse than eating a lot of lean meat (e.g. chicken). Just an easy way to add extra protein to your diet if you're training rather than eating tons of chicken breasts or tuna every day.

This is one of the best, although the larger buts make for better value than this if you look around. I used this a fair bit and got on with it. But I've switched to PhD Diet whey as I'm trying to lose weight, both are good (and tastey) options depending on your needs.

myprotein/matrix nutrition maybe cheaper but only the concentrate. Isolates are more expensive plus ON comes with BCAAs etc inside which make it good. Never bought it myself but it would be of a higher standard. If you're lactose intolerant, don't want to bloat, then get isolate (or ON if it's not concentrate)

not so long since myprotein had a deal for 5kg for £30 odd pound. even without a deal is still roughly £10 a kilo.

completely different quality though. Myprotein is tesco value standard. ON is generally regarded as one of the best products around.

true, although some just need the protein and not the full bcaa's etc that bodybuilding requires.

i think tesco is severely pruning its inventory.
they used to stock a lot of sports supplements at their surrey quays store - now most of them have disappeared.

Myprotein is considered about as good as a whey protein as you can get; and certainly better than ON, and at a fraction of the price.
You don't know what you're talking about. See below.

There's really no reason not to go with standard Myprotein pricing over this "deal". Anyone paying more than £10/kg of whey protein is being fleeced, regardless

I might be missing something but £27.99 doesn't come up with the options you mentioned. I would have purchased it immediately. Would you mind checking in case I've missed something?
