Shame this has gone but got a letter from my catalogue littlewoods today. Since I've not been using them i can have £50 off £100 spend. PS plus cards are a ripoff £51 so can buy two and get them for £26 each and don't have to fork out the cash, get TCB and my commission on my catalogue lol.

Well I got lucky for once. Never really have luck on my side!
Didn't want PSN credit as don't really buy digital, so ordered 2 x 12 month PS Plus for £60.98 with this code.
They only had one in stock, so took off the original price off one of them. So got 12 months PS Plus for £20.99 delivered

After my saga I finally got it sorted. On the day I was waiting around at the store the customer services people gave me £10 as an apology, I phone the store who picks the order and they said I would get a re delivery the next day and a £20 Sainsburys voucher as another apology, they didn't have the PS+ sub so I got two £35 cards and £15 Sainsburys voucher. Massive pain in the **** but £70 PS credit and £15 Sainsburys credit for £36 isn't too bad.

No show here as well, no call either or email telling me it's been cancelled, my first and last order with Sainsburys.Thought it was too good to be true and had my doubts that they'd be able to deliver.I'll stick to proper gaming sites next time.

Same experience with many that the PS+ card was out of stock, however shockingly they didn't have the decency to tell me that was the case. I only found out when I contacted customer services to chase up the delivery as it was past the delivery time slot and no show. Very poor from Sainsbury's.

Had a click and collect order between 4:30 - 5:30, arrived at 5:10 and no van. The store rang a different store and was told van will be there by half past. Half past and still no van, so the store rings through again and apparently the van left ten minutes ago. I go to leave as I was running late for something and I see the van drive round the corner. Finally speak to the driver after another customer has got their order, about 50min after I arrived and mine isn't on the van, he has no idea why. Rang customer services and they it was probably out of order... Shocking service..

Awful service from the Oldbury store, spoke to a guy called Dave who said they received a load of the same orders and "cancelled the lot of them" due to them "not being valid first time orders" and "not having the stock". No offer of any voucher or anything along those lines.

Had a phone call to say they would be delivering neither the PS+ or the credit as they were "out of stock". Very disappointed, Sainsbury's need to sort out their stock checking systems if it's still allowing orders through when they don't have stock.
Edit: Received a second call and they apparently now *do* have stock and are delivering today - so who knows!

Ah, glad you got that sorted. It seems they're less likely to give out refunds these days. Plenty of people have had issues of their accounts being hacked and Sony have not reimbursed them. There was a story of someone losing their account as they requested a refund through their bank, and Sony blocked access to their account.

hobsgrg
23 May 16#45
No, it is something you add for £25 to get you over the £60 minimum to use the code.
BobSmith
23 May 16#44
I contacted them on the day it happened, as I received an email on my phone about the "purchase". Did you have the funds refunded to your bank account, or your PSN credit? I have no idea why they just flat out refused to do anything about it. They were rather rude about it, too.
It's also frustrating that several people were affected by the PS Now beta in the EU, and were locked out of their PlayStation Plus content for a week. Again, Sony refused to reimburse for the time lost and simply stated that the terms of the beta would mean issues may occur and Sony would not be liable to it. Their customer service has gone downhill in recent times. They were helpful during the PS3 generation.
MazingerZ
23 May 16#43
Maybe they have a certain amount of days for the customer to realise? I noticed mine literally the day it renewed and got it cancelled. Funnily enough, I got 'scammed' by paypal who offered free PSN credit when you buy 1 years membership for PSN, but I never got anything, the offer was removed and it made a huge mess on PSN forums, didn't bother fighting for that one.
BobSmith
23 May 16#42
This happened with me. I had auto-renewal specifically disabled on the PS3. Didn't realise it turned on auto-renew on my PS4. Contacted their customer service, and they refused to do anything about it. They could have easily cancelled it and refunded back in to my balance (which was on my account), but would not budge. Spoke to several people about it, and got no where. Interestingly, the US PSN Customer Service do offer to cancel and refund if you get charge through auto-renewal.

Did you by any chance go from PS3 to PS4 this past year during your previous subscription?
When I bought a PS4 and used my existing account with around 9 months left, it automatically renewed. I believe switching consoles was the sole reason since I specifically had it disabled on my PS3. You should have lodged a complaint to PSN, they would have dealt with it.
mmackenzie93

I totally agree. I used to often try to buy 30 of the same item (a hard-to-get beer) and give them a couple of weeks notice each time to build up stock, or to order extra from their distributor, or to somehow procure the extra needed to fulfil my order. Never happened. I always got the five bottles off the shelf and an apology. I feel they're missing a trick here.
