I loved the original games on the PC.
This new one is not even close to those. This has been massively dumbed down and simplified. There are hardly any animals but plenty of multiples of the same ones, you are limited to how much you can build despite having a big map you can't use, it feels much more restrictive overall.
The original games were involving and entertaining. This one is not.

problem with this game is you get a huge area to build stuff, but you can only build your zoo to a certain size which is prob 1/4 of the area you can use. cant belive they didnt patch the game to let you build as much as you like.

Thanks OP - ordered. My two young nieces have played this game now and they love it. It's quite educational too as there is a 'Zoopedia' in the game which describes more than 100 animals and their habitats. But the game is not really engaging enough for adults in my opinion.

One of the reasons i didn't buy, will wait until its gwg
Seems like this limit thing is potentially ruining a good game from those comments. Glad I read before buying.

Keen to see if this is any good? My partner and I used to play theme park/ theme hospital etc. Does this compare?

The original pc version is very flat, like the old theme park/hospital. This one is more kinda 3d, you walk/drive round the park. Very good game

We really like it. It is very much like theme park and has replay appeal to keep coming back to. If everyone holds off buying every game until it's on gwg noone would ever play anything. Well worth this price, I paid around £10 in a double pack with screamride on a foreign store.

I had this problem and found it was because it hadn't logged me in despite me selecting the option to log in, so I'd make sure you are logged in, even if you already told it to do so.

Happened to me. I had to create an account on the website. Make sure you're logged in before using the discount code.

My GF has this on the Xbox 360, good game but a lot simpler than games like Themepark and Rollercoaster Tycoon. Seems a bit limited for adult players but great for kids.

Only hesitation is that it may be in line for Games with Gold sometime soon
That and it'll only be added to the huge pile of 'games bought because of HUKD' I have!
