^^On the xbox one you need to have a active gold to play the Xbox one games, but, the 360 games do not require a gold, they are yours to keep once you claim them, and all are playable on the xbox one regardless of subscription level.

Heat, heat, heat.
Plus on this weeks Xblive sale, gold members can buy the entire dlc for this game in one bundle, including Strom island (which is £15 alone), for £29.40, so that would come to £46.29 for Forza 2, and every bit of DLC and Storm island, which even the Ultimate version of the game at £64.99 does not offer.
But wait, it gets better, you can get a £25 xbox live voucher from a deal on this site for £18.99, so going that route you could get that complete F2 bundle for £23.39.

Can you clarify please, I'm confused. First you say you can get it for £45, then you say you can get it for £23.

Fair enough game, looks v nice. Fun to dip in & out of & suitable to play in-front-of or with the kids.
Learned the other day that in order to play games you've previously downloaded "free with gold", will only work while you've an active XBL Gold membership.
"Free with Gold" is not all it was cracked up to be.

Does this drive like Project Gotham in any way (arcadey style I mean)?

There's a fun demo for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions, which give you a good idea of the handling. It's definitely more arcadey than Forza Motorsport. Try the Fast and Furious demo, too, as that uses the Forza Horizon 2 engine and is free (you even get achievements!).

It's not arcadey, all the cars handle differently. My only slight complaint is that everything feels very 'flat' I.e. you can drive over a field full of crops or over a kerb and there's no repercussions. Needs to be more like GTA in this respect (not driving physics though).

The Fast and Furious one was only free for a limited period (I nabbed it before I got my XBox one)
Great little sampler, and was enough to convince me to buy the full game. (which is also fab!)
Definitely one to get if you like fun arcadey racers more than po faced Sims.

Which Fast and Furious game is it? There's one on Amazon called F&F Showdown with really bad reviews. It's not that one is it?
cool... download Forza Hub app on xb1 ... it will give you free money for all forza games every 14-15 days.... just log in into the hub on the 1st and 15th each month... it gives me £300k to spend on cars each time and thats for forza 5 and 6 as well for each game.... makes you keep playing and returning!
