Surely it is worth paying the extra £30, for 500gb more & The Division?

That deal was posted about a week ago and it's now expired I think. Also this deal for £196 is sold out

Fantastic offer, but the hard drive will get used up very quickly. An external 2 or 3 TB USB 3.0 hard drive is almost a necessity if you plan on downloading a lot of games (Ebuyer has some good deals). Games with Gold (if you subscribe) means that within a few months you will have no hard drive space left. Especially now that Micro$oft are offering better games (Sunset Overdrive, The Wolf Among Us and Lords of the Fallen are 3 that come to mind).
Edit: If this leak is true, then I'm afraid May's Games with Gold offerings are not that great:
Waiting for these to be free in packets of Frosties.

damn this is real nice, i REALLY want to get an xbox (already have a boxed up PS4!).
but really i just want it to drive around in FH2. If say, a week later I don't think it warrants the £200 purchase, would the X1 be easy to offload? For maybe £170?

I accept your point but you wont find an xbox for less. If you can spend a bit more the Division deal is excellent (I'm considering it, just wish it was another game)

A Brand new Xbox one under 200 quid is a hot deal.

A deal depends on what alternatives are available at the time. In this case the other deal is considerably better, making this a bad purchase in comparison in my opinion.

It's still a hot deal just not as hot as the 1tb deal. Once I've sold my copy of The Division, my 1tb will have cost roughly a fiver more than this.
