The year is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established their own lawless Republic where corruption, greediness and cruelty are commonplace.
Among these outlaws is a brash young captain named Edward Kenway. His fight for glory has earned him the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but also drawn him into the ancient war between Assassins and Templars, a war that may destroy everything the pirates have built.
Welcome to the Golden Age of Piracy.
Not a massive drop from the recently available £2.99, but look after those pennies and all that.

Front page shows shows 2.49, but when you click on it or add to cart it goes up to 3.99.
Is CdKeys.com a bait and switch site? or am I doing something wrong?

It's already been "free" twice on Games With Gold, for both XB1 and 360.

I may sound a complete idiot: have played this in the past on 360. If I bought this and signed in, would the XBox One version start me at the last saved position? I don't want to start the game again. Thanks.

I'd like to know this too, although I suspect the answer will be no.
I played it a lot on the 360, but sold the machine and got the XB1 instead. I've got my 360 save in the cloud and been hoping for it to become backwards compatible (I got the 360 version on GWG) but no luck yet.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think backward compatible only applies to games that have not been released for the Xbox one so I am afraid the answer is no.
You will have to Start the game from scratch

Good for you. Some do, some don't. I like the look of a shelf full of games, but prefer digitals for convenience. There's advantages and disadvantages to both.

Good luck finding it this cheap. it's 2016. We live with Netflix, Spotify, email and people mess around with discs and boxes all over.
I haven't got a single case in my house with over 350 games across my steam account and Xbox live.

If you find a physical copy that's available throughout the UK that's £2.50 or less, please let everybody know :smirk: Anyway, this is a great price for arguably the best Assassin's Creed game :sunglasses:

I gave this a try, and thought the first couple of hours were ok - then I came to a bit where I had to sail a ship around for what seemed like ages.....lost interest!

You'll get a code which your nephew should redeem against his account. You can add the code through the xbox one or online at xbox.co.uk.

You get key. then redeem it on the Xbox store. the code will be unique and then it will say what it is for on the screen (if code is correct), then it will download. be aware though that it will have to download a good percentage of the game before it can be played
