When the wife of the best-selling writer Alan Wake disappears on their vacation, his search turns up pages from a thriller he doesn’t even remember writing. A Dark Presence stalks the small town of Bright Falls, pushing Wake to the brink of sanity in his fight to unravel the mystery and save his love.
Presented in the style of a TV series, Alan Wake features the trademark Remedy storytelling and pulse-pounding action sequences. As players dive deeper and deeper into the mystery, they’ll face overwhelming odds, plot twists, and cliffhangers. It’s only by mastering the Fight With Light combat mechanic that they can stay one step ahead of the darkness that spreads across Bright Falls.
With the body of an action game and the mind of a psychological thriller, Alan Wake’s intense atmosphere, deep and multilayered story, and exceptionally tense combat sequences provide players with an entertaining and original gaming experience.

Only just got my Xb1 but already find myself compelled to collect these 360 games for it. Either 'free' as pack-in's or sniped for next to nothing on eBay. All too easy. I need to stop it
If I can get the Fallout 3 DLC for free then I'm golden.

yea could do that, weird thing is it allows me to 'purchase' other free items without a card attached, e.g I've just 'purchased' the Doom open beta just now and it didn't ask for a payment method.

I've just got the disk version for BC but when I try and 'buy' the free DLC I'm prompted to add a credit card to my MS account, I didn't really want to do this and just use pre payment codes for everything, is there any way around this?

Anyone else that was having redemption problems (this deal NOT CDKeys), mine wasn't working over the weekend, XBOS-4000 code, but now seems to be working. Redeemed on iPad

I bought Alan Wake for the 360 last night as it was back in stock. I got the code instantly and this morning redeemed it online.

Just for anyone else checking this thread for info. cdkeys just refunded my order after Microsoft support confirmed mine was a US code and not redeemable on my UK account (despite him taking me through changing my region and billing address).

Anybody with the issue is to post here, somebody will message you and replace your code. The codes are fine but there's a redemption issue.
Something went wrong

Could be an issue with the game listing itself by the looks of it - it was OOS here so I ordered from CDKeys and I'm getting the same error. Tried both UK and US regions on the website and console, no luck.

Thx, its only a couple of pound so im not going to panic lol, ill see what their support says, but i did have an issue redeeming codes in the past with Fallout 3. the solution there was to redeem on console but this isnt working either way.. and i've tried USA, Canada, Hungary, France, Germany, all same XBOS-4000 error.

I've just had a quick check, one suggestion states that it may be a region issue with the code and device/store page not matching the same region. Might be worth trying some alternative (obvious) regions and/or contacting Instant Gaming ASAP.
It seems to be OOS now so I have expired. Hope you guys get it sorted.

**** that there's a PayPal charge of £1.85 (bumps total up to almost £5) or a card payment by two Security checkouts I've never heard of before
Think I'll stay away from this deal, and stick with my physical installed copy

Afaik all quantum break physical copies come with alan wake when you buy new, the pre-order bonus was American nightmare or kameo elements of power depending on where you pre-ordered from, hope this helps

Cheers for that. I didn't actually look to be honest as I thought £3.29 was a decent enough price. Just had a look on the Game website and they are selling it for £2.99 pre-owned. I've added it as an option.
