Been looking for a little sander & this seems not too bad a deal, has more power than the Black + Decker equivalent.

do u just buy normal sandpaper and cut it? i see screwfix sell pads that shape but does it matter if there are more holes in the pads than the ones that come with it?

Absolutely brilliant sander.....I have just painted my house bar the living room/kitchen....this sander made my life a lot easier and quicker whilst decorating....I had TWO Black and Decker sanders before....both blew up!
One I threw in the bin the other I tried last week and it started to burn/smoke and get very hot whilst using it on One door!
The only negative thing about the Worx is the adaptor that attaches to vacuum cleaner....poor quality connecting material (twist action but two little nubbings start to shear off very easily meaning adaptor /vacuum hose fall off time and time again.)!
Thanks for that, good to know.
Thanks OP. I had an Argos £5 voucher about to expire, plus a further £5 credit on Nectar, so only £9.99 to spend in store. Now to find something to sand...

If you don't understand then it's going to be hard to explain on here, but start with the size, then the ergonomics. Multitools are great but not for sanding a large surface. If you're going to do the job right you need to start with the right tool.

Why? Both oscillate to sand?

Don't buy one of these. Buy an oscillating multi tool, then you have a saw as well.

Bad advice - won't do the same job in the same way.

This is very good quality, far superior to the black and decker, both my B&D are dead, this has outlasted both of them, great deal Op...

Can you fashion your own sandpapers or must they be bespoke, in which case where do you source them from and how much do they cost? Thanks!

I bought the Apollo 180w from Amazon (fulfilled by) a few days ago and been using it to do the garden table. Very happy with it and my thinking of purchasing through Amazon is that when (and these inherantly do) it packs in, Amazon is the best bet for returns and refunds.
