absolutely brilliant game. worth every penny at a much higher price. one of the best alternate nazi stories I've played in a game. and excellent graphics, very well optimised engine.

Is this a prequel or sequel to Old Blood?

OLD BLOOD is a standalone DLC to NEW ORDER
Old Blood is a prequel to New Order
Hope that makes sense
oh and BTW New Order storywise is much better than standalone DLC Old Blood

Has anyone played this and Old Blood if so please read this comment.
I was bored to tiers with Old Blood the AI seemed to be so slow at reacting even on the hardest difficulty. It felt as if I was playing through a story with no significent challange along the way. It took roughly 8 hours (possibly less, cant remember) and I couldnt wait for it to be over.
The game wasnt bad but with the lack of challanging sections, I dont feel I could put myself through the bordom for double the amount of play time.
I enjoyed the story alot, usually this type of game would keep me interest but Old Blood didnt. Did anyone else have this issue but enjoyed New Order?

Yeah same, I played New Order and was hooked from start to finish. Played it in the Uber difficulty (basically because the game took the pee out of you if you played lower difficulty).
It was a fantastic story and I felt like I got immersed in the story and characters, but when I tried new order, I just couldn't be arsed, it felt like an "add on" like disjointed from the story and as if it was just about the gameplay and action. I didn't finish it, and I prefer to just leave New Order in my mind as a brilliant game on its own merit.

I love the reviews on Steam. "I gave it nein out of ten". Bought and heat added.

I couldn't even complete the game as it was so tedious imo and boring... Pew pew pew, nothing else.
Still, plenty of people seem to enjoy it, and at this price you can try it for yourself without being too disappointed if you don't enjoy it.

Great price, shame it's not multiplayer like the old one!

So just to clarify, which one are you saying is better? As you only mentioned one game in your reply.

This one, The New Order. It's the main game. Old Blood was kind of an add on/stand alone DLC, might be something you enjoy but I didn't get hooked.
If you're stuck for something to play and want a good story, excellent gameplay, this has it all for under a fiver. I'm extremely tempted to buy it for PC but I played through on PS4 when it was released.

Ah, I see, thanks. I have New Order on PC already and love it. Just wondered whether Old Blood was better or not and worth a go. Thanks again.
