wish they'd sort out the packaging of normal crumpets, such an awkward design.

Actually I was wrong in my assumption a regular Warburtons Crumpet is 55g, a giant one is 105g, so lets call it double the size ...still think I would much prefer to get a standard pack at Asda at £1 for 9.
Only saving you are getting is with toaster convenience.

Lol...a different experience, I have tried one of those giant crumpets....it was not revolutionary....I have also shared 1.5 crumpets on occasions at breakfast with my wife when I have felt one just does not suffice, heck I have even had two crumpets instead.
How about another different experience, toast a giant crumpet and cut it in half, have the revolutionary experience of eating 75% of a crumpet!

Don't you get 9 regular Warburton crumpets for £1 in asda? Got to be more crumpet /$?

Probaby, but its like the difference between eating a king size mars bar (ahh the good old days) and the equivalent in weight of fun size bars. They're not the same thing.

Cold from me, these giant crumpets are effectively 1.5 of the standard Warburtons crumpets. You can get a pack of 9 regular Warburtons crumpets for £1 at Asda, 4 giant ones would be equivalent to 6 regular which you find on offer regularly at supermarkets for around 70 pence.

You may be getting more product by weight for your money by buying a pack of 9 normal ones, but eating these giant crumpets is a different experience which is worth the extra few pennies. Its not like the difference between a big or a small box of cereal. Once you've poured it out a bowl of cereal is a bowl of cereal.

These are tasty for what they are toasted till crispy then smothered in lashing of buttery spread each giant crumpet i'd say is equivalent to 2 standard size crumpets

I've had enough giant crumpet to last me a life time thanks, it's a new bed I need now!
Opening post
These crumpets are so nice. light and fluffy, not stodgy and rubbery like some others.
