Mediterranean Veggie Risotto and Mushroom Risotto on sale in the 'Sale Clearance' freezer right by the door in our local store (Bristol Keynsham). Both half price at 75p. Also listed on the website, so must be national. Stir fry or microwave to cook in 12 minutes. I bought 3 and will try one tomorrow!

Reducing lots of lines, saw the kangaroo steaks and ostrich burgers at Stafford (and no longer a freezer with 'speciality' meat in to be seen), also the american ready meals have all gone but today one lot was in the reduced freezer and they also had several frozen soups. Seems a big swap over of ranges.

Similar in my local Iceland yesterday.
The had a reduced freezer. In our local one was Venison 2 streaks down to £2.50 (Got £10 worth), remember there was some deserts and chicken dippers (did not buy).
So worth people checking their local Iceland if they are getting rid of some old lines.

Yes, they had ostrich burgers, frozen soups and frozen squid all reduced at my branch too. But I thought that the risotto deal was the best!

It only takes another 10 minutes to cook risotto properly, is it really worth buying this pre-prepared ?

Ate one today - pretty good. Enough for two people and each gets 2 of your five a day (just about). Good deal at 75p. Wish I had a bigger freezer.
