I still got nothing from Smyths. Instead I bought it from Tesco yesterday and once the other copy arrives I will go and return it :smile:

Day 3 and mine has arrived (2nd class Royal Mail)

Postie has been annnnnnnnnnd .... It still hasn't come today, irked to say the least.

​I phoned to complain today around 30 minutes before the mail came out. Told me it would be a refund back to payment method.

I've had the same email. If it does arrive tomorrow, and I get a genuine £5 refund (rather than a credit) too then I'd say that was fair enough. At least Smyths have tried to do something about the problem.

Update 3 - just got off the phone with them, said it will be here tomorrow, gave me a refund of £10 as a gesture of goodwill, right, off to the shop to get a copy now then

Phoned them yesterday, said it was dispatched with Royal Mail .... On hold with them right now for a refund.

Mine was delivered by Hermes not by the usual postman so it may arrive later in the day which is what happened for me...

Day 2, postman has been and gone, no UC4 :disappointed:

Mine hasn't arrived either.

Disappointed with their delivery time. I preordered the game weeks ago, but yet it did not come today. Definitely should have preordered off somewhere else.

Even though i went to shop and got mine, the game later arrived here just after 5pm, they are shipped via hermes so they deliver until 8pm..of course anyone reading this now without UC4 is outta luck for today :disappointed:.........for the record the game is pretty sweet a few hours in so far.

PreOrdered from Smyths. No Uncharted. Not impressed at all. Last time I shop with them for something like this.

Mr Postman has just been for me too, and no UC4 for me either. Pretty annoyed that it hasn't arrived on launch day. Will stick to using Amazon in future.

You may be best selling on eBay, depending how the prices are going and then using that cash on the best priced deal.

Usually DLC Codes have an activation date set for the release date of the title. It should work at midnight tomorrow.

is it best just selling separately then? Do smyths normally do trade ins or is it just select titles?

Received my DLC code earlier, and just received my game dispatch email too.

I've also just received a code. Is this just for the dlc and a physical disk with the main game will be sent out? Just put it into the PSN store and it said it wasn't a valid code.

Yea I've had that in my email for the past week, until i read about it in their FAQ, now im feeling a little cautious.

On their FAQ page -
"the price displayed at the time the item becomes available for dispatch (and not pre-order) is the price you will pay. Smyths Toys can give no guarantee as regards changes in prices between the time of pre-order and when the item is available to us for dispatch;"

There is no multiplayer dlc. New maps have been confimed for free for everyone to not split the playerbase.

anyone know of a trade in deal here or is there a good place to trade old games? If not, I'm guessing ebay is the best course of action

85p cheaper than my pre-order at Shop2, not going to cancel for that but this is currently the cheapest around

It's well known but I don't think UC3 was disappointing at all neither did the reviews - it has a better critic and user score than UC1 on metacritic.

Think I will stick with my Amazon preorder special edition for £49.99

I paid £23.99, fell straight into my lap at a lower cost. You may have missed the boat this time but there are ways of saving money...

Are people still splashing out £38 on a PS4 game...? These days are numbered. And that's a good thing.

Its strange as i thought The last of us was brilliant. I still want to play it for the story but the gameplay left me cold when playing the Uncharted 4 mp beta.

Honestly after buying Uncharted 3 at release day which was very disappointing i'll sit this one out.

U2 was way better than U3 but I'll be up for this later on when the price drops a bit.

But in general, a price of £40-45 for a new release is quite common in most places, especially for a high-profile game like this one. So I don't agree with the idea that this is a poor deal because the game is overpriced in the first place.
