You should be able to cancel as it's only a pre-order. Usually they take payment on the day it's dispatched.

Odd, works ok for me. I ordered this morning and if I add a product to cart and go to checkout, adding the code, it accepts and takes off the discount.

Point #6 in the T&Cs does state though:

Coupon codes can only be redeemed once. (You cannot use the same coupon code several times.)

So may not work for everyone.

I would say the pre-orders are as much a gamble with Base as they are with anyone else. There are a good number of reviews that say delivery is quick, some saying that pre-orders even arrived before release date. I took a punt recently with Dark Souls 3 via a seller on eBay (making use of the recent 20% code) and it was delivered on release day as promised.

At the end of the day it's down to what's more important - if it's late and you'd had rather pay an extra couple of quid to get it on release day, then do that - Shopto are selling it for just over £38 and they are *very* good at getting stuff out on time or sooner.

For me, my pile of shame is so huge that I'm happy to take a gamble with not getting this on release day. If I do, great, if not, it's not the end of the world and I've still saved a few quid.

Looking at the Rakuten and Trust Pilot reviews though, it seems like a pretty safe bet for release.

I'm pretty sure all standard Launch edition versions come with the same thing...reversible cover and some multiplayer skin dlc. I'm guessing Base.com haven't updated the artwork accordingly.

Yes and no. You can order from them just as you would from Basecom (I've done this myself just 10 minutes ago).
You can use any points you have as well (as I did).

BUT you can't use the £2.15 future points (obviously).

Am I the only person who isn't hyped for this game? I have played and finished the previous three games and each game was an absolute slog to get through. Don't get me wrong the writing and graphics are great but gameplay has been straight up mediocre in each game with literally no improvement in combat. Also got bored playing the UC4 multiplayer beta in just a few matches. Its strange as i loved every second of The last of us and even enjoyed Crash and Jax games but Uncharted doesn't do anything for me. The last of us 2 is a day one purchase though.

I love the story and the puzzes...
Shooting always was a weak point in Uncharted games IMO, hence multiplayer being a bit meh for me...
Plenty of people liked MP in Uncharted 3 though and there didn't look to be much different when I played the MP beta of Uncharted 4 so I'm sure it'll have its followers.
Strangely, I did rather enjoy MP on TLOU but it wasn't very popular.

I actually sent Base an email on Friday asking them if they were sending that day, then a few hours later I got a dispatch confirmation. Could be coincidence, but might be worth a go. The confirmation email came through just after 3pm on Friday.

The syncing with the server doesn't work at the moment as they haven't "switched" on the information (on the server side), they seem to often delay this until near/on release day.
Don't worry you are still earning trophies and you can see them once sync'd (or go to notifications and you can see them).

Unfortunately the PS4 is a step back in regards to trophies as you can't view them offline like you could with the ps3.

Shooting is improved but still weak so multiplayer has no draw for me but I'll probably buy it again when it's a bit cheaper as I absolutely loved the single player experience.
