I've been keeping an eye on this, still cannot decide between this edition or special edition but with this being £100+ everywhere, and the history of uncharted, I am sure it will pay itself back within a short time. So, I think I will eventually cancel my special edition order and placed an order with Rakuten!

Can you use the MAYDAY code on more than one order? I used MAYDAY for Halo Guardians Special Edition (£16) and now I cannot purchase Uncharted 4...

Not at this price it is far from poor. We are talking about a 12" statue made by Gentle Giant who are known for their collectable statues, easily valuing it at around £40. Consider the cost of the standalone game (you were fortunate enough to get the regular edition pre-order for £22) and the regular collectors edition whether or not you personally are into collectable figurines or not it is good value.

I actually called them today, just to get reassurance, that they will have enough stock of this before cancelling my order from amazon.fr and the lady I spoke seemed sound.
Asked for my order number double checked everything and guaranteed me 100% they still had more ordered than what they'd sold.

I needed to contact them as I was unable to place an order, as per my comment, and that of the person before me.
For all I know their link with the payment system may be down, and who knows, maybe they don't even know it.
Also I contacted Rakuten as well. The fact is the payment was never even getting as far as making a request to my bank, so it is a problem with Rakuten or the sellers side of things, when you couple that with an address that is returning undelivered (the address as displayed on the Rakuten page) I though I would share that information.
Thankfully helpful replies have been received, removing my concerns but still no order...

Hmmm I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt on the strength of me having spoke to them on the phone last week, though I must admit I've still not cancelled my prior pre-order from Amazon France yet.
I'd like to think the fact they're marking it as sold out would suggest they're responsible traders who won't keep taking orders for something they know they won't have stock, which alas many others out there seem to do all the time.

Well the thing is Rakuten is in charge for processing the payments. They do charge the payment card upon placing the order. What sort of card did you use that you were not charged until now? My payment was taken and was cleared in my account a few days ago!

Having just read some of the reviews I am bouncing round my mother's flat in frustration at the thought of having to wait another 5 days to get me hands on it so I just called Boss Deals to ask if they'd be sending them out early.....she said no.
Anyway though, she did point out that all these special editions will be going out Monday on next day service and because I am spending so much time at my mum's I asked if she could change the delivery address from mine to here but she again said no, because of fraud reasons.
So I am as satisfied as can be in our situation that those of us who have ordered this from them will be receiving it in 5 days time, feel free to shoot me down in flames and call me an utter Toby if it turns out I've called it wrong cometh the hour :smirk:

I wouldn't bite my nose off to spite my face as they say, 83 quid plays £110 is a big difference. I'm not very happy about it but as long as it comes through I'm prepared to let it go, even if it is a day late.
That said if tomorrow they end up cancelling our orders 'due to unforseen circumstances' on the other hand I'm going to pipe right up though.
How much are the supermarkets doing the bog standard copy for?
I'm tempted to drive up to Harlow tonight if they're doing a good deal on it with shopping but otherwise I'll leave it.

I am sorry both, this was my first post/experience from Boss Deals. I have been told via email that this will be despatched tomorrow, too. A day of delay for me is not a big deal as I have had worse with pre-order of my all-time favourite game (MGSV) with shopto who sent me the game by 5 days delay. But I do understand for some of you this is really important to get the game on the day of release. :disappointed:

Just logged into shopto account and saw this message there. Makes me believe Boss Deals are not lying about the delay, it is a general issue with Sony:

Don't seem like supermarkets do those 'loss leaders' on big video games like they used to any more. I remember a massive queue outside Sainsbury's in Loughton at 7am on COD release day 8 or 9 years ago because they was doing it for a score or perhaps a 24 quid.
I'm waiting till lunchtime to call Boss Deals and if they say there's another delay I'm going to go via Harlow and collect the one I've got reserved from Game.

Every guide I've ever bought that comes with any kind of eguide deal has been USD, par for the course that.
I have read some rather worrying reports of trojans in Prima eguides quite a few times.
To be honest even when I've had included codes that give you an extra eguide totally 100% on the Freddie Freeman's I ain't ever redeemed em so I can't speak from personal experience whatsoever.

Ughhhhh had played a few hours on another ps4 copy of uncharted. Sold that once this came - but my old saves won't load on this CD :disappointed:. I read different region locks can sometimes cause this? Any ideas guys?! Tbh, enjoyable so far so don't mind starting again - but still a hassle!!! Is this a US version?

Nah it ain't mate, definitely PAL and even just read the small print on the DLC code card inside the steelbook, all SCEE so hope that helps

I've been keeping an eye on this, still cannot decide between this edition or special edition but with this being £100+ everywhere, and the history of uncharted, I am sure it will pay itself back within a short time. So, I think I will eventually cancel my special edition order and placed an order with Rakuten!

Asked for my order number double checked everything and guaranteed me 100% they still had more ordered than what they'd sold.

For all I know their link with the payment system may be down, and who knows, maybe they don't even know it.
Also I contacted Rakuten as well. The fact is the payment was never even getting as far as making a request to my bank, so it is a problem with Rakuten or the sellers side of things, when you couple that with an address that is returning undelivered (the address as displayed on the Rakuten page) I though I would share that information.

I'd like to think the fact they're marking it as sold out would suggest they're responsible traders who won't keep taking orders for something they know they won't have stock, which alas many others out there seem to do all the time.
I shall most likely give them another bell tomorrow but at the end of the day we're not going to know for certain till this time next week, fingers crossed :confused:

I am sorry both, this was my first post/experience from Boss Deals. I have been told via email that this will be despatched tomorrow, too. A day of delay for me is not a big deal as I have had worse with pre-order of my all-time favourite game (MGSV) with shopto who sent me the game by 5 days delay. But I do understand for some of you this is really important to get the game on the day of release. :disappointed:
Just logged into shopto account and saw this message there. Makes me believe Boss Deals are not lying about the delay, it is a general issue with Sony:

We have just been advised by SONY that they have placed a shipping restriction on Uncharted 4 for all retailers, these will now be shipped on Monday the 9th. This should not affect delivery of the item for release but some delays can occur within the postal service on rare occasions.

Don't seem like supermarkets do those 'loss leaders' on big video games like they used to any more. I remember a massive queue outside Sainsbury's in Loughton at 7am on COD release day 8 or 9 years ago because they was doing it for a score or perhaps a 24 quid.

Having watched vds of the first few chapters of gameplay from Zac Scott and GameRiot on Youtube last night I seriously need this in my life ASAP!
Phoned them just now and they said they've two vans today from DPD collecting the orders for delivery tomorrow. They also added my phone number to the order for a delivery slot tomorrow that DPD will notify me of. They said we should receive a despatch confirmation by 3:30PM today.
Good woork though, did they 100% confirm they got it in stock now?
I might give em a bell and try talking them in to changing the delivery address to my mother's again, all the more seeing they've messed us around for a day now :smirk:
All I had to do was mail them through Rakuten with the request so that is a right result.

Unless they've already been handed over to DPD but they are just late on sending the dispatch email out.
I had a bad feeling about these guys which is why I initially emailed them.
I notice on their listing page they got these back in stock, first 3 then 8 then back out of stock again...maybe they have them but just not updated yet....least that's what I'm hoping.....
I've never ever had a problem with DPD, touch wood, so have got no reason to doubt them showing tomorrow.
