Why is there version of an aio prone to leaks?

I've got an Arctic Liquid Freezer 240, on one pc and a corsair h100i on another.

I think the 2nd generation ones are a lot better. I got a 1st gen and it's fine, but I have my mobo horizontal in my case

Both my radiators are at the front of the case well away from the mobo. Where do they mostly leak from in general?

I nearly bought one of these and saw all the reported leaks in reviews. You can get more reliable ones for a similar price.

Nothing is 100% leak proof. Water is a universal solvent. Then again, I watercool since I like to take risks.

You can water cool, but you can also liquid cool without using water.

terrible cooler, many reports of leaks which have destroyed components and getting compensation from raijintek is difficult. Stick to Corsair or NZXT

I had two from OcUK and both leaked, it's the acrylic res that leaked for me, doesn't handle shipping at all well as when the first replacment arrived it already had cracks in!

I use a corsair i100 GTX now and it's great
