A bit like Rocket League, this is a game I'd prefer to have in digital form. but that is a very good price.

Jump on it like a car bonnet people. This game is great - any variant of Trackmania is. Why this game has never been a blockbuster smash I will never understand.

Like the video game equivalent of hard drugs or Haribo, this game is so moreish.

If you have both consoles, PS4 runs at a higher res, so you could argue it is *slightly* better. Whatever version you get, you will have a lot of fun.

The buggy stages which comprise of 50% of the main game are a chore because of the terrible handling but the rest of the game is fun.

So 50% of the game is crap?

To answer my own question, you can't use codes on guest checkout and need to register first.

You're right it isn't, but I guess I could have mentioned any 'casual' game as I am talking about preferring to have it available instantly rather than faffing about with discs.

It's one of life's mysteries why this game isn't more popular! I got this on PC like every trackmania game before it,
seriously considering a PS4 purchase to, but think I'll hold on for a cheap digital copy as I'm fed up with disk swapping!!!
silvercondor to pinchez

In years to come, we'll laugh at disc swapping. It's a ridiculous practice. I actually can't understand why publishers aren't pushing digital gaming more widely, as it surely cuts down on overheads like manufacturing and shipping. Have at least some of that saving reflected in the digital price, and everybody wins. Also, it'd effectively eliminate the second-hand games industry, which must cost them - I dunno - millions worldwide?

If they passed those saving on to the consumer I'm sure the transition would be much quicker. As it stands it's usually cheaper to buy a boxed copy with added resale value. Despite the inconvenience it's not hard to see why consumers still prefer discs.

Yeah, at the moment digital gamers are pretty much entirely reliant on flash sales (and the weekly Canadian sale), but they're fairly common now.
But with new games, specifically, who the **** is paying £50-60 digital on release?!
voyager123
27 Apr 16#29
i woudn't pay that price but people who game share and get cheap credit can get games cheaper than a physical copy, i have no problem with digital BUT i will only buy when stuff is on sale

Well it's only my opinion (though others seem to agree). That's just the campaign though, you can bypass the buggy vehicles when you play online and of course there's the track creation tool.

Great game, realistically what Trackmania 2 should have been in the first place.
Missing a bunch of features the PC version usually has, but that's pretty irrelevant in the console versions. 17 quid's a steal if you're persistent enough to deal with some stubborn levels; the game gets damn hard later on in the campaign.
