Found this to be the cheapest two-port powerline at the moment.
Spotted this online at Argos after I purchased the same one from Amazon so ended up cancelling and getting this.
Also 10% quidco I think.
(correct me if im wrong)
I have searched to see if anyone else had posted but couldnt find it.

Gigabit Powerline adapters aren't worth the extra money. I have three Netgear XAVB5201's here at home and using Netgear's utility software shows me the link speeds between them averages out at around 140Mbps. Its been as high as 300 and as low as 90 before. They have been rock solid for me.

My TP-link homeplugs didn't last more than a year before I got constant dropouts.
They are however not bad at using through extension cables - homeplugs have really come along way in reliability.

I use these to connect my Xbox One and PC to the internet. The internet speed is the about the same as the being directly connected to the router.

I'm not sure how the two ports work.
If I connect one to a socket next to my YouView box, and one to my Blu-Ray player with both ethernet ports, do I need to connect the other end with both ethernet ports?

No, it's just a second available port.

I have a pair of Trendnet adapters , and one of them has 2ethernet ports which I use for 2 different items. I only use one item at a time, so there's no problems.

Am I the only one concerned with the way the Op has got their phone setup? AVG and Cleanmaster? Not needed and battery hogging for no reason. Deleting old junk files feature of CM ain't too bad actually i suppose
I have tp link pass through never had a problem with them at all even have one plugged into an extension and still works a treat just make sure you don't plug in to surge protector as this can upset them

nope, the 500mbps is only powerline to powerline speed, not device to router speed.
Obviously won't be Gigabit. The throughput is a theoretical 500Mb so Gigabit would be pointless. In practice you'll get nowhere near 500Mb more like 110Mb. I've had TpLink homeplugs before, don't rate them at all, I wasn't so fat then as I had to continuously switch them off and on again to make them work, so I got lots of exercise. I got fed up with that and thought it won't be so bad being fat as long as the homeplugs work so I bought some used Netgear ones from a mate which work perfectly.

I've found pwerline adapters with pass through to be more suitable for my use, I always need the plugs for something or other!
Also, can I just check that this is for a pair of powerline adapters (each with 2 ethernet ports)?
Thanks,

Any idea why I always seem to get the "While we work on fixing the search functionality we're limiting the number of visitors able to use 'Argos Search'" page when I click through to an Argos deal from this site? If I go to to their homepage, I can then search from there with no problem...
