If it doesn't work after a few hours it might be better to uninstall the app, reboot your phone then download it again...

Tried that and it still doesn't recognise one item. I'll leave it for a few hours and try again.

This question must surely have come up before, but I'm really sorry I can't find an answer to it...
Morrisons cucumbers don't have barcodes on. They're entered manually on the till. Yet Shopitize want to see a barcode.

Not many offers for me this week but heat for the effort!
I normally get a few bits from shopitize and it's a great app but it's hard for me to take pictures of the receipt. I have an iPhone 6s so it's not a problem with my phone (and a friend has a Samsung s5 which nearly always needs multiple uploads). Check outsmart and click snap are never a problem for me which I'm glad for at least

That is odd! What device are you one? - I'm on an iPhone 6... For me Checkoutsmart focuses instantly and takes the shot immediately - for Shopitize there is a lag, and you always get some camera shake...

20 Apr 16#13
Sadly I don't really use Shopitize much any more - the offers aren't as good as Checkoutsmart and the camera software they're using always takes blurry photos for me (when Checkoutsmart takes perfect crisp ones every time in the same device) so I end up getting a fair few rejections - also their customer service isn't that great - it's a shame - it used to be brilliant, but seems to be going downhill to me...if your listening Shopitize....take heed, and update your app....

Ahh that's too bad you're having issues with your app as my pictures always come out clear. Try taking them without using your flash in plenty of natural light. I always find Shopitize customer service to be excellent and very helpful. Regarding the offers, Checkoutsmart have been offering a lot of freebies lately which is great but their other offers aren't so good...

Maybe your smartphone camera resolution is too low.
I use Galaxy S2 and clever robot recognises receipt ok most times.
And yes natural lighting works best.

Idk the camera software works well on my nexus 5 and I have no problem getting rewards from them or customer services? Also shopitize always has the milk and bread offer and better brands whereas checkoutsmart offers and freebies are always random (except the beer). I find checkoutsmart's claim system sucks especially when I get the correct item with the receipt and it ends up getting rejected (and it takes over a day for me to get the cashback/rejection compated to minutes on shopitize) and I am unable to repost to claim the cashback because 'the receipt has already been posted'.

That's strange! It's the opposite for me, Shopitize takes really nice photos whilst Checkoutsmart always needs a couple of tries to get a clear picture.

Me too :disappointed: I'm a step nearer- I've read that i need to turn off anti-virus whilst I print. Hopefully that'd also work with supersavvyme. But how to actually turn it off? Has me stumped, so far
