Some great new offers again this week but what do you think about the repetitive weekly offers like Bonne Maman, Coco Pops Cereal Bars, Branston Beans, Original Source, Napolina Pasta & Kit Kat Chunky? Would you prefer to have brand new offers every week besides the staple Milk, Eggs, Bread, Butter/Spread? Happy shopping, saving & sharing…

Thanks KiKai! Very much appreciated as always. Unfortunately I don't have the milk offer (yet again). Bought milk earlier on Tuesday and didn't realise the offer wasn't there, kept refreshing, log out and back in, nothing though
KiKai to machka
13 Apr 161#3
You're welcome machka. The milk offer should refresh by the morning as there seems to a problem with that offer. With regards to the one you purchased on Tuesday, take a photo of the receipt and send Shopitize an email explaining the offer was not visible in your app and i am sure they will rectify this for you...

Thanks so much KiKai, and I like the offers repeating. If I missed anything, it's a second chance, and it's a bit like Checkoutsmart, where we get things a few times, so get the opportunity to get used to it a bit

Thank you for your reply KiKai. I'll check the app again in the morning
As of the offers, the staple ones (bread, milk etc) are great and very useful. The new ones besides the staple ones are encouraging to try out different products too.

I prefer the offers to change each week as don't always get to eat/use the product straightaway. Then again, the cocoa pops disappeared the same day I bought them!
KiKai to NotALot
13 Apr 16#31
Good point and the offers disappear once you have either uploaded a receipt and claimed the cash back for that product or its a Capped Offer which has been fully redeemed or it's Wednesday and the new offers are out...

Bit mixed. Would rather has a different type of item (e.g. Toffee Crisp instead of KitKat, Heinz instead of Branston). Similar products but just gives a bit of variety. But good to stock up on the thing I would like to by again. Maybe it'd be better if they had a 4-week rotation of regular items in addition to the new one-off offers. Thanks KaiKai.

Thanks as always KiKai for the weekly analysis of where best to exploit the Shopitize offers, and in particular for the Orangina spot @ Tesco... speaking of which...
A few tips re -1p The Orangina offer in Tesco where it's £1.99 less £1 Tesco coupon and £1 Shopitize £back:
#1 The "Claim £1 coupon from Tesco instore magazine" is the April magazine and coupon is part of a full page advert on page 64
#2 The App's claim process requires you to start watching a Video - so best to do before going out shopping where you have free WiFi rather than hope you can download the video in store [as I always like to scan the product barcode as I put it in my basket to be sure that Shopitize agrees with me that it's the valid £back offer product].
#3 The packs (which it took 2 people & the Tesco computer to find) were hiding in plain sight in among the other multican soft drink packs; it's just that the blue/light-blue slim can multipacks don't shout 'Orangina' the way the dimpled/curved orange glass bottles used to, and the multipacks are fairly slim versus the other packs!
Plus Withdrawal working OK = Yes : just requested BACS payout of £6.35 with no problems.

14 Apr 16#57
Bought the Lloyd grossman from morrisons but it's not picking it up so I had to send them a message. Anyone else had a problem with this?
mk-donald
14 Apr 16#58
If you mean their App "clever bunny robot" (aka "dumber than old non-robot") didn't recognise/award your claimed item, then frankly I find that increasingly normal.
eg Today a Tesco receipt 2 of 3 items recognised and insisted on retake which then went to 0 of 3 items; reported it; got confirmed within minutes rather than hours/days it can sometimes take [ie can't be too much of a backlog currently]. Sainsburys receipt 1 of 2 recognised first try; 2 of 2 the second time!
IF you meant their App wasn't recognising the barcode then (a) double check your item 100% matches everything you can see/read on the App's offer (b) take photos of the product and its barcode and email their support saying you reckon their barcode database isn't correct. I have to do this about once a quarter and they've always quickly updated the barcode database.
That said I ALWAYS try to validate the barcode AS I pick up the item to put in my basket as too often I'm picking up the wrong variant/size/colour/flavour/weight/"lite"/etc.
pookey1
14 Apr 161#59
The barcode was fine, the receipt wouldn't go through but it's all sorted now.
Thanks

Thanks KiKai
I bought the kitkat chunkies at Asda, barcode scanned fine so paid for them at till, snapped receipt and it wouldn't accept so I reported an issue.
They declined it saying the item isn't on the receipt which I find makes no sense as they approved Asda as a retailer for this deal so surely should be ok with how Asda prints the product name on the receipt (shows as Nestle). I didn't really want them for £1 but def worth it for around 50p!
Got the beans again - great offer. I don't mind the repeat offers although would prefer variety too

Kit Kat Chunky isn't £1 in Morrisons, it's £1.51. Annoying, thought it was an offer they hadn't changed on the shelf, that regularly happens. And you can't check on mifi in store, for some insane reason it doesn't work :disappointed:

My last two receipt photos kept whirring away to check if they worked.... over ten mins each... so I logged off, logged back in and it had gone through! Amazing... usually takes twenty million attempts before it says it's sending it for review.

Shopitize seems to have been rejecting offers from Asda for no apparent reason. This is after a manual review. God knows what they are expecting.
