Following the failure of my last tea deal, try this one.

Following on from Arbk66's comment ive been buying from Home bargains and B + M and they have started to sell the 210 boxes of Yorkshire now.50% FREE instead of the 100 % FREE which went on for ages.I saw B+M had a catering bag of 700 on the shelf this week and i think it was priced at £7.99 but not sure. Got to look out as some boxes say one cup,but there still ok for making in a mug they just need a slightly longer swim.

The rule I apply for bargain tea is 1p a bag, sadly this doesn't come close to that rule. You actually heading towards 1.5p a bag so way off the scale :disappointed:

Tesco selling as "half price" so £4.50 there but probably not everywhere.

I have a 720 tea bag poly catering bag from Costco. I am sure this didn't cost me more than £10. This catering bag seems to be bottomless, for me as the only user.

They are normally the '1 cup' variety, made for caterers, smaller and therefore weaker, had to use 2 bags per cup when I had them.

This has the been the price point for offers for the last year. Get them while you can as they wont get cheaper.

Changed several weeks back, the norm in Farmfoods is now a 210 box for £3.99. Sadly bespoke sizes is becoming more the norm for some discounters.

Visited Harrogate as a tourist and had a good stomp around it, thought it looked fine from a visitors perspective. Funny enough I had tea in the famous Betty's Tearoom, folk queued up along the street waiting to get in - must have been Yorkshire brewing up

I wouldn't know. From the way he spoke of it, I had no inclination to visit!

Thanks for the heads up on this -
Hubbie has to have decaf for medical reasons and these are the only de caff tea bags we can find that actually taste like tea!

No, but when I was a student I shared a flat with a guy from Bradford who insisted that "Harrow-Gate" isn't "proper" Yorkshire.

You've obviously never visited Harrogate!

Real English tea. I can see the plantations hoop north right now.
