This is a really good price for a double height airbed (double the height of normal airbeds) from a shop you can return it to easily if things go wrong. I spent ages looking for one last year and ended up buying this very bed for 40 quid.
All of these double height (raised) airbeds are usually 40 quid upwards everywhere during the summer (even online) so it's maybe worth buying now for festivals etc (Mine fits in a 6 man tent with room around it). I'm a bit annoyed it's gone down in price! That's life...
I usually use the built in pump (plugs straight into mains) at home but assuming it has not changed since I bought one, you can pump it up with an external pump too if camping etc.

Thanks, it's a pleasure to help :-) I tend to find these good deals at the wrong time for myself personally. I already have one as mentioned and just wanted to know the dimensions without having to pump it up! At least I have that information now, everybody's a winner...

Set one of these up tonight. They are awesome and pump up in seconds, worth paying the extra for compared to the standard inflatable beds.

Just based on your experience...
Once it goes up via mains, does it seal and stay inflated all night? Or does it give out?
Had a single size one which didn't last more than four hours. But that was a cheapo.

It seems to go down a little but not flat on the floor like the one I used to have! I used it for three nights in a row last year with two of us and it was a little more jelly-like after that amount of time but did not feel uncomfortable to sleep on. Your particular concern was one of the main reasons I bought it from Tesco though in case it did start going flat. It's a lot easier in a place like that to just throw it back at them if necessary :smirk:

Max weight 23 stone so not much good for most couples unless your both 11 odd stone each.

I never noticed that when I bought it! Oh well, we have friends (couples) of various shapes and sizes who have slept on it and they were fine.

I saw a couple with one of these set up in the back of their 4x4 on Sunday - it looked very cosy - I could hardly believe the height of it at first.

usually about forty quid on ebay so defo hot. i bought one for £54 on ebay that was rated for 50stone and as i am 19 stone went for this option for me and wife topped it up once in a weeks camping so defo good.most campsites have electric hook ups now so we just use the main pump
