Everyone talks about Symphonia being the best of the series, which was back the day, but it has aged terribly.
I've played almost every Tales game prior to Xillia 2, and they're mostly all tired clones of one another.
The Tales series needs a major revamp and a longer period of time before churning each uninspired sequel out.
Sort it out Namco! Give us the game your loyal fan base wants rather than the one they'll purchase purely because of the title.

This is the 1st Tales game I didnt complete, i've played nearly all the tales except xillia 2 and this is the worst 1 of them all.

I found this game so boring I didn't finish it. Xillia was worse overall but the fight system was slightly better in that. They need to go back to making it like Vesperia and Symphonia. Ever since they switched to this new 3D style, the series has gone downhill.

I agree, all the recent Tales games aren't as good as they used to be... Well I guess for this fix I'm looking forward to Star Ocean 5

This is the only one I've played to completion. I enjoyed my time with it if a little repetitive by the end (what JRPG isn't though).
There are some decent side areas and perhaps the system to add abilities to weapons/equipment could be a little more customisable. Otherwise I was happy with playing through it (at least the cast are all quite likeable).

What's everyone's thoughts and reviews on this game?
Be interesting to know what the apparent co-op is like too...

Co-op is local on the same couch. One person controls the main character and only during battles do other players (up to 3 more for a total of 4) get to control the rest of the party.

Doesn't help me but it will help someone so thank you!

Didn't know. Ilford had at least 5+ in stock as of half hour ago if that helps!

It's been this price for a while its finding stock that is the issue!
