Let's say I commute with a bike and I want to store it in my bag - would they crease if folded up in my bag?
xsdamage
25 Apr 161#8
they do crease in a bag, but after wearing it for 30 mins the creaes fall out. I put my non-iron on for work and by the time I'm in the office it looks perfect and importantly, stays looking good through the day. my normal shirts looks terrible by the end of the day. I now only buy non-iron.

Not that many styles on a 4 for £80. Non irons appear to be 4 for £120. Hopefully someone can point out where I'm going wrong cos these shorts are great

Are they really that much better than M&S shirts? I normally go for the easy iron ones. Tried the non iron ones before. Even though you have to pay extra for them I still ended up having to iron them.

Yes, much better. Especially the fit. M&S are like wearing your Dad's clothes, the fit is awful.

i got a twill and herringbone white non iron shirt, only thing that I don't like is that they are thin and a bit too "see through" for my tastes.

6 May 16#29
Not quite as the name suggests, they should be called easy iron. They still need to be ironed but the creases drop out very easily. If like me, you iron a shirt in the morning before work, these are a must. I'll never buy a standard, crinkly, 100% cotton shirt again. You could not wear these straight out of a bag, they would still look creased.

I've read in a couple of places that the non iron treatment make the shirts less breathable, making them more like polyester (not in terms of how they feel when you touch them, but as in they make you sweat more easily)
What's your experience?
MJGM
6 May 16#31
They are certainly thicker, possibly warmer to wear but in my opinion they have a softer feel to them and the non-iron feature outweights the slightly warmer affect they have

The first place you're going wrong is by looking for shorts on the TM Lewin site. It's certainly the weather however, perhaps try JD Sports? :stuck_out_tongue:

they are not the same as normal fitted. The non irons are a bit bigger and don't feel as normal fitted & don't look as formal.
copy and paste what's on the initial post. It Hot UK Deal's automated money making scripts that are disabling the link..

Can't say I've noticed them being any less breathable, I don't sweat any more when wearing them. They just feel like a decent quality shirts, with the bonus ironing much quicker in the morning and not creasing too much throughout the day.

FYI one of my shirts was a plain white oxford and it's practically see-through, sending it back which is a shame, keeping the others though.
Slim fit isn't very slim either I've found, I'm used to Moss Bros slim fit which are always perfect for me.

Hi there,
I've had many of the TM Lewin 'non-iron' shirts and find them truly awful - I could never leave the house with the state the shirts are in.
I end up having to iron them.
However, when I first get the shirts and take them out the packet - I always iron them, wear it then wash it. I don't know if my initial ironing is unsettling the fabric or something so that when I wash it and hang it up to dry, I am always terribly disappointed.
