The ultimate Nintendo hero is taking the ultimate step? Out into space. Join Mario as he ushers in a new era of video games, defying gravity across all the planets in the galaxy. Features: Shake, tilt and point! Mario takes advantage of all the unique aspects of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller, unleashing new moves as players shake the controller and even point at and drag items with the pointer. Mario essentially defined the 3-D platforming genre with Super Mario® 64, and this game proves once again that he is king. Players perform mind-bending, low gravity jumps across wild alien terrain as they experience platforming for a new generation

Pre-Observed? I thought Pre-Owned was pretentious enough :stuck_out_tongue:

You can't use Wii U controllers (ie gamepad or Wii U Pro controller) to play Wii games regardless of it being a Wii disc or download from eShop.

I think if you're using wii discs on the wii u you have to use the control methods of the original wii game. So your stuck with the nunchuck.

Bargain! Couldn't get in to it myself, never had a Wii so having to use the nunchucks on the Wii U just didn't feel right.

Same here, kind of. I bought this for my kids but they were so used to the standard wii u controller, the nunchuck was alien to them and they lost interest

People say this a lot on here, but use of nunchucks is not forced/required is it? You can use Wii U controllers to play Wii games via your Wii U.

Had this for years and only started playing it a few weeks ago, better than Mario 64 not as good as super Mario world. Absolutely cracking formula. If it ain't broke...

It most certainly in my mind was the first game on the Wii to really make effective use of the nunchuk/Wiimote.
