I have no idea why this game has stayed so expensive. Nintendo are absolute money grabbers.

I don't care how good a game is, it has no right costing £30 two and a half years after release. Typical Nintendo price fixing.

Very tempting, but I'm gonna wait for it to become a Selects title. It already has in NA.

Childhood memories says Mario World/Mario 64 were the best but I'd have to say Mario Galaxy as it was pure genius.

Actually 6 games available in Selects. Nintendo Land.
Although the normal version of Nintendo Land can be sourced cheaper.

Whats the best Mario game for you? I rate SMB3 (NES) very highly which the dude mentioned.
I actually found Mario Bros Wii U and Luigi Bros Wii U to be really disappointing and a step sideways for Nintendo.

Excellent price & great game; but still not a patch on Mario 64 in my opinion.

Reprints of games for much lower price (Wii U games are priced at 20 quid and thus far there are 5 available: Zelda Wind Waker, Lego City Undercover, Wii Party U, Super Mario Bros U + Luigi U, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze).

Bought and played all the big tent pole games on the system but now it's kinda dead I have no compunction hacking it so I can run them with convenience from SD. Anyway,,I could just be into crappy homebrew

Try and justify piracy how you want but to me there's a marked difference in true abandonware vs a current console that's still available to buy.
I only own about 6 Wii U titles but that's more AAA gaming than I'll ever get around to playing and the titles cost me less than £150 all in.

I can get this for £28 with points... I'll probably kick myself if I don't. I mean, it's like £40-50 everywhere else new.

The best Mario since Super Mario World IMO (and yes, I am including Mario 64). SM3DW, Mario Maker and Mario Kart make the Wii U a worthwhile purchase for me. Fantastic games.
It's not going to happen any time soon, just sayin'.
We got different selects than US did, Lego Undercover and WiiU Party or whatever it's called.

Nintendo don't set the prices in Europe for retail games. They don't do RRP.

GTA V is exactly the same, £30 for it is considered a deal. Came out on Xbox One and PS4 18 months ago, or two and a half years ago on 360.
Typical Rockstar price fixing, eh?

You think other companies lower the price to be nice to you? Nintendo know that their titles age better than most other games and it's part of their strategy to very rarely dump the prices, sort of a seal of quality.

Great price. I paid £32 for this second hand off eBay a week ago.
One of Nintendo's best games, brilliantly inventive - the kids love the co-op mode and I join in when I can!
