I purchased one at the beginning of the year and dug it into the ground to make a wildlife pond, already home to several newts and frogs. 145 litres is a good size for this.

I removed the wheels which just unclip, then I dug the hole slightly larger than needed, used a spirit level to make sure the container would sit level, then filled the container half way with water and then started to back fill with mud around the sides, you do not want to back fill the sides with mud before you start to fill or the sides of the tub will try to collapse inward even though this is quite a strong storage tub. I added a large piece of slate to act as a slope so wildlife can get in out, I also had one of these from an seconed hand aquarium i purchased http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exo-Terra-Turtle-Bank-Floating-Island-/370871792916?var=&hash=item5659ae7514:m:mL3EwNoEot4KrF_DUBLzfyA this floats around the surface.

Must have a look in my Morrisons, got one in Aldi before and use it as a log store at my back door to save me having to go out to the garage when it's cold and wet. Has been great through winter, hasn't let in a drop of water.

Homebase should price match within 14 days of purchase as per their "price promise”. You should also get 10% of the difference back - I almost felt guilty getting the £22 on the 4 that I purchased 12 days ago!
Hope that this helps.

I think you might want to add some stones to make a sloping "beach" , so any animals which get in can escape safely. It lets birds have access to water, too and you can add a couple of plants for shade and shelter. Great idea for the box, by the way. I got the last one in our local Morrisons yesterday and it's pretty sturdy. Wouldn't grudge the extra couple of quid for another one.
