I can't even begin to imagine how many hours are available here for £2.67 each, dreading to even think if you purchased the full lot.

As far as I remember, you have to add a way of sending money from your bank account to your paypal account. I can't remember how this is set up, but, I'm sure when you check Paypal, you'll find the info. You'll probably need to link both a bank AND card. Again, don't quote me on that! Also, you may need to verify it.

First of all, thanks for your previous answer about the German version
Could I possibly ask you how it all works with Paypal as I've never used it before. I've asked a question on a couple of forums I use but can't seem to get a straight answer off anyone on there.
How would I do this? Link my card to PayPal but not my bank details? Don't link anything to my account?
Just search for the keyword, "german," and you'll find the answer. EDIT: To make it a bit more seamless, look for this guy's post - "derwinternaht"

Yeah, would also like to know if there are any restrictions of content with this being a German site.
If it is cut I'd rather wait until it is available on Steam.
IsThereAnyDeal suggests that it's regular price on the site is £7.78 where as it's £15 on the UK and FR sites, which adds to my suspicions that it might be a censored version.

If they censored doom, surely you would effectively just be left with a black screen?

Sounds the same as my bank. Even using PayPal doesn't work when taking it from my card. The way I avoid those charges is to send the amount I need from the bank to my Paypal account. Then there are no charges, as it uses the balance available and nothing from my bank account. Hope this helps.

Grabbed Doom. Contemplating Fallout 3, i always end up skipping Fallout 3 sales when i read through the trouble people go to to get it functioning for newer operating systems.

You don't need to add a balance to Paypal to use it, it can come directly through your card. I've never been charged extra from currency conversion, and I've used it quite a few times for both USD and Euro.

Cheers for the comments chaps.
I've just looked around and it seems to be conditions of my card. Appears that on purchases that involve a currency conversion there is a £1.50 charge plus a charge of 2.75% of the cost price. 2.75% of £4.68 is 0.117 so that explains the 12p as well.
Would using Paypal avoid that charge? I haven't used Paypal but surely I still need to use my card to put money in Paypal so would still technically be using my card?

It depends on your bank I think.

Jan81's response is correct - every bank and even bank account is different and charge different fees. I have a Natwest Debit and Credit card - on the debit card I'm charge a quid for a foreign currency transaction, but it's only 5p on the credit card, but some banks charge both more and less.
If memory serves, you can. You could just try it

Hoping someone could guide me with how this site works with payments as I've never used this site previously. In fact I've never bought from the UK gamesplanet.
I recently took advantage of that awesome TellTale Humble Bundle but as I paid by Debit Card there was a £1.50 NON-STG PURCH FEE and a 0.12p NON-STG TRANS FEE which meant that instead of £4.68 I paid £6.30 total for the Bundle. Still works out a decent price, just nowhere near as awesome a price as if I didn't have these fees applied.
I figure this is because I've used my card to buy something from a US site and therefore in a different currency.
Will this also happen when purchasing from a German site in Euros, could anyone tell me please?
