Dark Souls is the new action RPG from From Software (Demon's Souls). It presents many familiar elements: A dark fantasy world, rousing dungeon exploring, fighting with fearsome enemies and unique online interactions.
Like a new, desolate world, whose huge vertically-oriented landscapes you can fully explore, and a new, mysterious story set in the world of Lordran expected.
But most of all awaits you death - in the form of countless murderous traps, countless sinister and grotesque opponents and several oversized, incredibly powerful demons and dragons bosses. If you want to survive in this unforgiving world, you have to learn from the death.
But you're not there. In Dark Souls, the ghosts of other players can show up in your world, so you can learn from their deaths ... and from your. Moreover, you can get players into your world to experience with them adventure, or you can drop into the worlds of others to measure yourself in PVP with them.
A new feature in Dark Souls are the beacons that serve your way through this epic adventure as checkpoints. If you recover to a beacon, you regenerierst health and magic, but everything has its price: Your opponents will be back! So be vigilant: No place in Dark Souls offers you really safety.
With several days full of fun and an even looser unforgiving difficulty Dark Souls is the most intense and most demanding game that you will play this year. Can you survive one million deaths and justify your legend?

Isn't every edition of darksouls a prepare to die edition? It certainly feels that way....

The PC version always is, yes. It was ported to PC after consoles and so includes the DLC that was available for those earlier versions.

I appreciate the reply but my comment was meant tongue in cheek. Starting a game of darksouls feels like preparation to die. :man:

Make sure you verify your email address via the confirmation link. The Steam Key should be available when you go to the order summary.

So is this number 1, then Dark souls II, then DARK SOULS II Scholar of the First Sin? Are they all worth getting? I've not played any of them yet.

Scholar of the First Sin is Dark Souls 2 with all DLC and different enemy placement, just think of it as a complete edition of a game.
I've played Demon's Souls, DaS, Sotfs, Bloodborne and am currently playing DaS 3.
I honestly think this series is now my all time number one gaming franchise. Every game (even DaS 2) is absolutely quality and has so much lore it is untrue.

Heat! I've been looking for a cheap copy for a while. Had to check my spam folder for the confirmation email, but it's all working on Steam
