Cool, this is part of the two for £8 on Zavvi which I thought was quite good. This seems a great deal in comparison. I loved SST, but the two sequels were dire! This is meant to be very good, if not Oscar worthy, certainly worth £2 I'm sure. Have some heat..

imho sequels were better than the first in some ways, No.2 is a fairly decent serious B movie, no.3 is pure cheese (of the good kind), this cgi film is pretty good and the unrelated cgi tv series (dated animation aside) is the best of the lot and has the most inspirations from the book (whilst the panned No.2 film has some of the same ideas as the CGI series). Take them for what they are and don't expect a lot from them and they are enjoyable. If expecting any of them to be like the books, one and three are the let downs, tho it's a good day to die when you know the reasons why...

I recall the Starship Troopers sequels being awful, but I wasn't aware of this CG film. Nice find.

There is an underlying theme running through this set of films.....
