That's probably because they pay their taxes, unlike some other supermarkets...

I did and mine was dispatched today so I can't take advantage of this deal :disappointed:

this offer is a scam spent 38 pounds in thurrock sainsburys then was told it did not count as the blu ray is not included in the price of the shopping so i would have had to spend over 45 pounds to get the deal. so gave it all back and got all shopping in tescos instead.

Not releasing 3D now means they can release 3D version for xmas. More sales.
Then the special/extended edition next Easter.
And finally the triple boxset in 3 years. Then the extended special 3D boxset....you get the idea :disappointed:

Received my blu-ray today bought from disney store with limited edition sleeve. Sending it back, doesn't say limited edition anywhere on it as shown in the pictures and my sleeve (light side) has bent corners. Expect this to hit the bargain bin. Big disappointment.

Went in to a local Sainsburys today to check they would be running the promotion I store, they said they 'cannot confirm or deny' the offer until adverts start running from Sunday evening.

Great price for a very good film.
If you've not seen it, ignore the sour grape negative comments - it's certainly worth seeing with most reviewers giving it at least four stars out of five. Much better than most of the recent sci-fi/fantasy blockbusters http://www.metacritic.com/movie/star-wars-episode-vii---the-force-awakens

Towards the end of the year, apparently. I've used my Amazon no-rush credit to get the HD streaming version to keep me going until then.
Asdas own brand luxury muesli?
I might try it soon!

Picking mine up from Tesco on Monday anyway, along with my free Star Wars book and £30 better off than I would be with this deal. Winning.

But ASDA has the BEST Muesli. Their luxury Muesli beats all comers. Check out Good Housekeeping review!
I feel I know too much about this subject. I will stop now.

Not true, some stuff is cheaper than ASDA. e.g. Dorset Muesli was >£1 less in Sainsbury's the other day, no offers on.

Damn. I had people fighting me that a free book isn't a free book when you pre-order it at Tesco (you're putting down a deposit for the pre-order - which is coming off the price of the blu-ray making it £13 when you collect it) and this goes hot when you have to spend £30 to save 3 quid....?

Sainsburys give bags for life for 5p instead of single use bags. So they don't need to give the money to charity. But they do anyway, and have ever since the tax came in.
watson44
14 Apr 16#12
technically its not the 5p tax they are keeping as the bag charge is on single use carrier bags not bag for life that they are now using, but yes, a charity loophole none the less

They may pay there taxes but they also found a loophole where they could keep the 5p bag tax instead of giving it to charity ........ Not sure if they still do as they got bad press about it .
Hot for the price but very disappointing film
