Got mine on Wednesday and no problems with the quality or performance of the watch. I prefer the strap more than a metal one as seems more comfortable on wrist and does not pull the manly hair. music is easy to sync of my z3, plenty of fitness apps, and txt whats app messages a bonus. Google maps works great, no delays, weather widget is quick and the translate function works fine. Linking it to my bt hub took 20 seconds, got torch on it too.
My nephew got his yesterday too and he is impressed. It was the only Sony gadget missing out my collection. The spare straps are on ebay for £20.

Sent mine back due to the stuck pixel. Though I thought the screen was rubbish on it. Very washed out and not so good viewing angle either. Sort of glad it had the stuck pixel as not impressed even at £62.99. The strap makes it look cheap.

The shame is, the adaptor (genuine and 3D printed) to choose your own strap is just too plain big. It really makes the genuine rubber strap the only option for sports.
The crazy thing for me is I either spent £35 on a strap of £62 on this deal and get a spare watch for the extra £27. :disappointed:

Mine just arrived. It has a stuck pixel though which shows white on dark backgrounds which is a little disappointing. The strap is naff too, dust magnet and looks used after 10 mins. Think its off back.

if you don't have a credit account then it should work. Add to basket> then apply for credit from the notification you'll get> add discount code on the right> continue with order but chose pay up front if u want or as credit.

I should have added that this was mountain biking in a forest, which runs the phone down pretty quick too, I think it managed 5 hours and still had a little left. Its coped with a two hour run with gps and music fine, its pretty quick to charge - 30 minutes from nothing.

It originally had a problem due to sweat affecting the reading somehow, but an update appears to have fixed it for me. It is pretty much the same as my phone for recording distance and route etc.

I think its variable, from what I can see, some claiming it makes him scale buildings, I have also seen peopel who sweat a lot complain. I have never had any problems, use it for running in Edinburgh and biking at Glentress and Inners and its been fine, I use ghostrunner to load to Strava, but I think Strava are finally adding GPS in standalone as all the others have. Just got an upgrade a week or so ago too.

Go to swim.com, its probably one of the most feature rich watches, they compare it to all the others they support. I have just used it in pools not open water, but it tracks your lengths, time, strokes etc.

Gear 2? Or the Gear S2? Neither are running Android Wear. They may have some really nice features (particularly the S2), but they are too niche in what is currently a small market. There aren't many apps and don't expect support to last very long. Wearables haven't been around long, but lots have already fallen by the wayside. Android Wear is a safer bet.

I did the same; the white strap, although still a dust magnet, looks cleaner for longer without constantly wiping it down. Also the white strap shows less wear. Have you had the same experience with the black strap - when continually worn under a work shirt it appears to be wearing away the stop sides of the strap?.
