I'd pay a bit extra to get one of the new revisions (the silver, gun metal etc.), these are more likely to be the first model of DS4 which were known for the sticks crapping out and the triggers breaking/losing sensitivity.

Thanks for the comment, but have you had any luck checking the serial number online with Sony site? Not saying they can't fake those, but usually helps spot a manufacture date.

The fakes can often look identical to genuines, packaging is normally the first give away but these look fine, the only give away usually is how the pad actually works. Fakes can have stiff buttons, the analogue sticks can be less sensitive and the touchpad and 6 axis functions can be iffy but I've tested them all and it's as good as the pad that came with my nephews PS4 so I'm sure these are legit.

Yes I bought this too, came out at £27.60 i think with the 20% last night. Should be genuine(hopefully). Sent out via Hermes today.
I had seen those from Gamesets. They don't say Sony or genuine anywhere in the description, and the SKU is SETS0013 which doesn't match the official Sony
And it doesn't have Sony printed on the pad

I bought the same as you with the 20% off. Hopefully it will turn up and be fully working and genuine, as nothing in the description suggests its a fake.

Yeah I'm always dubious over being genuine, their listing clearly states genuine and none of the negative feedback is for them being counterfeit.

My plans are mostly PC usage with the DS4Windows tool. Wired for the time being but if anyone can recommend a good value bluetooth dongle I'll be their friend forever.
