I have been looking for a cheap ps3 as a back-up for a while. I am sure it can be found cheaper on well known auction sites, but this claims to be grade A refurbished and sold from a fairly reputable brand. That said, I bet Phone Shop by Sainsbury's is only a sister company of the main Sainsbury's brand (so unlikely to be able to return in store etc).
I have bought from this retailer before with no problems, however the refurb deals are usually in limited supply.
This is the later "Super Slim" model not "Slim".

Does are used, not refurbished, but I guess that the 2 years warranty covers that.

the lower the grade the more wear and tear if you like so grade a will be near perfect, grade b will be cosmetic damage etc etc

Good deal if your after a refurb should point out you can get them much cheaper on ebay, I bought one on ebay for £67 inc delivery, after selling excess controllers and games ended up about £35.

After replacing the 160gb drive on my slim with a 500gb WD black 7200rpm, the console was amplifying the sound of the headers moving (the clicky noise hdds drive makes when seeking data) I got rid of the caddy and the drive is firmly held in place only by a piece of foam glued to the back of it, which is pushed firmly by the plastic cover of the drive bay. It's super quiet now as the HDD isn't in contact with the chassis and it proves the caddy isn't needed if your'e happy with a bit of tinkering.

No point grabbing these because you're going to have to add a HDD. Remember, most games have to install gamedata.

Remember for those looking to add hard drives that it's often cheaper to get an external 2.5" drive and remove the drive rather than buy a straight up hard drive.
This does invalidate the warranty most likely and you do need to ensure that the drive you're buying is not soldered in and can be freely removed.
I used a Verbatim 160GB Store 'n' Go and can confirm that can be freely removed from the chassis without damaging it or the chassis (thereby freeing that up as a spare external caddy),
