Main difference between this & the 2016 model is the new paint job, this one is more discreet.
I know this will be limited to people with both the 1) Budget & 2) Hobbit like height but thought it might make someones day given the almost 40% discount.
Highlights:
Frame: 850g (Size medium)
Forks: 320g (Full Carbon)
Full 105
DEDA handlebar/stem, Fizik saddle, Michelin tyres & they even throw in some pedals/cleats!

People like you are so predictable, same dumb comment for the Ribble Pro Evo bike the other day:

I have a very serious question. Why are many bike seats so uncomfortable why cant they have a cushioned seat? If there are any comfortable seats can someone send me a link?

Can't comment on the ride of this or a Cannondale but when I was looking for a new bike I tried both the aluminium and carbon versions of the Specialized Sirrus, as well as an aluminium Hoy. The alu Hoy was awful, harsh high frequency vibration from the road. The alu Sirrus was much better but still a little bit vibraty. The carbon Sirrus was a joy, damped down all that tizz the alu frames transmitted through. To be honest it was as calm as my very old steal Ridgeback, but at a fraction of the weight.
Best advice, try both, then decide if you think the carbon ride is worth the money.

Good price, alu is harsh, steel is better, no need for a carbon fork with good old steel.

My caad8 has carbon forks but the ride is harsh at the front; but yes without carbon forks the ride would be even harsher....

Alu frame and carbon fork is a lovely mix.

Carbon isn't everything. I'd recommend a Cannondale CAAD12 105 for just a little bit more. You get probably the best aluminium frame in existence, real race pedigree and a decent resale value. Road bike of the year, no less. And you can support your local bike shop by buying from them who will set it up for you and, most likely, give you a proper bike fit too...

I have a caad8 which is a very good bike but the ride is harsh at the front; so far I have'nt seen anything to suggest the 12 won't also be similar.

Lot of insecure reactive comments to one troll, when the fact is driving is a dinosaur skill that will be replaced by self driving cars within the next 10, possibly 5 years. Whereas cycling and its health benefits can only increase in significance as people live longer lives and have to fight the flab from modern diets and office work. Let the threatened drivers lash out all they want.

This is a terrific bike, even better at this price - as noted in this Road cc review which said
"The Ultra AF900 is a joy to ride" . The higher up the Btwin/Decathlon chain you go the better the value in terms of bang for buck. If I had the money I'd snap up one of these...though I do like a bit of colour on a bike! Road CC Ultra Review
