I'm looking to do some DIY and needed a mask. Bought a cheap 5 pk then annoyingly saw this...might be of use to someone.
Reusable 28-day half mask. Odourless, non-allergenic rubber construction and elasticated straps provide comfort in a busy working environment. Exhalation valve removes heat and moisture and lowers breathing resistance. Protects respiratory passages from dusts, vapours and gases.
Heat. Ordered one to keep in the bathroom. I live with elderly parents.

Love the Q&A on the product page:
"will this mask make me look like bane for 28 days and keep me protected from batmans sleeping gas ?"

I have the JSP version, well worth the money as the filters are nearly that price alone.

This catalogue offer. Used 1 to try and it was good. Will buy a 2 more as I get more than 3 months out of them. I only use when needed then dry out in the warm before sealing in a bag.

It's rated for 120-150 hours before it needs new filters. Unless you are in a very dusty environment.
Also it will be a dust not smell filter!

would suggest to spend £3-£4 more and get a proper 3m mask...

This should be better than the cheap five pack you bought. Those cloth ones are pretty crap.

28 day masks enable companies to get around the regulations on recording the issue of replacement filters. It has no bearing on how long the filters will last. The gas filters on a 28 day mask are integral to the respirator otherwise it defeats the object! Once the filters are saturated the whole mask is thrown away. The filters could last just a few hours or many months depending on what hazard you are protecting yourself from.
The mask that is linked above claims to be a respirator with P2 filters. These will not protect against gases and vapours as claimed. From the image it actually looks like it has A1/P2 filters.
The standard for 28 day masks is EN:405 not EN:140.
The older I get the more pedantic I seem to be. Now off to Tesco to check their multi-buy offers and correct their pricing mistakes.

I just took it apart, it says SITE A2/P2 On the A2 it says EM 14387:2004. Then underneath A1: 2008.
Then on the white filter it says. Site Pre P2 R. En 143:2000. A1:2006.
I am not sure what all of this means, are they A1 or A2 and what is the difference? Many thanks.

Also FFP2 is a disposable mask rating.
Apart from that everything seems correct!
