Went to Tesco Filling Station and they a few different types of AA Energizer batteries scanning at 25p.
Not sure if National. I found these in Stretford.

Surprise surprise, a Tesco deal that will once again be harder to find than rocking horse s*** but all the little Tesco fan boys and girls will still get their "hot" voting finger out, without engaging their brain (sic!) first.

The date on one of the packets said, "Use by 2018". I'm not sure, to be honest.
