Super hot for me! If my old mega drive wasn't still going strong I'd snap this up! I am tempted anyway

I have a boxed copy of Sonic the Hedgehog at home for nostalgic display purposes. I'm actually hovering over the buy button, for that and E-Swat.
Happy days

Great deal for a console regardless of how old the tech it is, some of the games are timeless classics and will be enjoyed by many more generations to come!

I'm guessing this uses the 'cheap' emulation sound chip?

These really do look and sound dreadful. The only way to really appreciate the beauty of the pixel art in these old games is to play them with RGB on a big CRT. Its sad that many will only see retro games presented dreadfully. A bit like all the mugs who are into vinyl but only play them on a crappy Crossley

Yeah, I really had to make use of Ebay's 20% off deal yesterday to grab myself a Project Debut Carbon. Been meaning to pick up a turntable for a while, and the timing couldn't be any better.

They still look pretty good on your mobile  I agree with the CRT part but LCDs are getting better all the time. Hopefully more LCDs will support backlight strobing to improve ghosting issues.

I was all about Sega as kid but, looking back, the Snes was way better.

Snes was marginally better technically, but the Mega Drive had the better games imo!

That's a total Sophie's Choice for me...how can I choose between these two legends of gaming history...?

Back in the early 90's, Sophie wouldn't have had a choice!

The Megadrive was always a poor man's Snes. Back then, Nintendo really were Super. How times have changed...
