Really this is a MEGA deal. I would wholeheartedly say buy this whilst at this price. it's £15-£20 cheaper than I've seen in the last few weeks. You will love the speed increase.

Tempted as I need a SSD but don't reckon this is a mega deal. Pretty average overall.

I have this drive, failed in 2 months, I had to send back to Sandisk, awaiting replacement.

This or the Sandisk Ultra II 120GB?
I am looking to upgrade my old/second laptop to SSD. It has a i3-330M processor with 4GB RAM. Its only used for web browsing by my parents. So I think 120GB should suffice for windows 10 with Microsoft Office utilities and files.

No point in having unused space . Most people like you describe should never get close to full!

Depends. As a system drive a 120GB SSD will be good. If you need to store lots of data (Video, Music and Pictures) at 480GB would be the best option. Personally I would go for the 240GB as a system drive and buy a 1TH external SATA USB3 drive for all your data to live on.
1/4 of the size for 1/3 the price.... hmmm, not really applicable as a "similar" option tbh.

Essentially always this price unless the retailer wants to sacrifice sales for a week to later pretend their price is a massive discount. Sub-£80 would be a good deal.

Tempted to buy.. BUT ONLY IF IT WAS £50 :P Still waiting for the 940GB for £100 :disappointed:

I would agree with the other guy this seems pretty average. For £5 more you have the Ultra II for example. There is also OCZ Trion 100 for the same price as this (which I understand to be a better specced drive (OCZ tho...)).

It's a great item and good price, where I already have the 240GB version for my o/s but hot? It's pretty much this price with constant deals week-in, week-out. The real deal would have been getting it recently from ebay with 20% off.
