Rufus would not work on 8gb for me but that was 2 years ago. They must have made them bootable since then

I've had 2 of these 128GB version, usb3.0 performance is great, but they are pretty much useless on usb2.0, writing of large files (2GB+) is erratic, starts off okay then drops to close to 0kbps after a few hundred MB

Are they bootable.
I'v bought SanDisk 8gb usbs before and they were not bootable
Couldn't leave them back and ended up buying more from a different manufacturer

I use Rufus to build a Win 8 and a Win 10 bootable device with the 32GB one, works perfectly.

I've just had to semi-retire my 64GB model, due to changing to a phone with a USB C socket (Nexus 6P).
It was never on a keyring, but it had a wrist-size lanyard, just to give me a better chance of finding the damn thing!

I believe I accidentally deleted my post. That's what happens when your desk is a mess and stuff on top of keyboard pressing keys at random
As 63098792, I have the 64GB version of this and the sliding mechanism is very flimsy. I bought it for the convenience of not having to use an otg cable and in that respect it works fine. I won't be buying another when it breaks though and it's only a matter of time before that happens with heavy use. It's a tiny little thing, fiddly slider with non-reassuring latching. Deal is good in terms of price but personally i'd avoid this one  I'd vowed not to buy any usb sticks with sliders but the 64GB was cheap a while back on Amazon so i picked one up. I also picked up the conventional Sandisk Extreme 64GB and although that also has a slider, it's far, far superior to that of this tiny little thing.
As far as sticking it on keyrings, do people actually do that? If so, they can't be throwing their car/house keys about like i do  I wouldn't want to risk sticking data of value on the same keyring as my battered car keys!!

Great if you have Humax PVR's, can transfer the .ts files (recordings) very quickly from the PVR to this then to an android phone or tablet with OTG.
Then playback using MX Player.

I had the previous USB2 version of this type of drive. The plastic was terrible and the idea of keeping it on your keyring doesn't work as the plastic snapped after a couple of weeks and I nearly lost the drive. It doesn't sound like the new design improves things much.

I've got the 64GB one. Performance and function is fine but casing isn't the best. Sliding mechanism is a bit stiff and feels like it'll break in relatively short order and the metal band on one side and slider button on the other make it difficult to plug something else into a second USB port next to it.
