That is 40 Inches big, this s 48 inches big. Therefore it is 8 inches larger. SIgnificant for a TV.

No its not - its an typo in the text, the model number is the same and it refers to 48" further down

I purchased this TV from PRC Direct.
I can connect my Samsung S4 mini via screen mirroring but when it connects it just shows my phone home screen and doesn't change image on the screen when I use the phone. Am I doing something wrong?

Got this TV from Richer Sound and its superb! Sony are going to introduce PS 4.5 for playing 4K games this year !!

I want this, but sony upscaling seems to be far better

Lol consoles can't even do 1920 x 1080 consistently let alone FOUR TIMES that resolution which of course, would need four times the performance just for the same in game assets and framerate. To put that in perspective, a GTX980ti coupled with a bunch of very expensive hardware barely knocks out 4x the performance of PS4's GPU.

Any increased performance would surely be to focus on the VR aspects as mentioned, which adds even more performance overhead to games. 4K native games are a pipedream in an affordable console box.

Well, unless you freeze yourself and wake up in 2020.

It will be interesting to see if they price match this as the product code is slightly different. I assume they do this to avoid the price match. JL = UE48JU6410 C&M = UE48JU6400

Out standing price tbh the 40inch model was £550 just 6 months ago !

SD quality is good, angles are decent from the side but watching dead on is best, otherwise could not see any Sony or LG TVs in JL store that came close to matching the deep black levels the JU series delivers. The Sony and LGs did have better colour but when grey or dark scenes it just looked bad, the JU series imo has a decent overall performance in all areas unlike other TVs.

Forget about 4K tbh its not here yet and may never be, but the JU series delivers good colours, angles and deep blacks nicely even on SD or 4K content (had it for 7 months) Don't forget to follow the AV picture test guide to get the best of your TV.

Well got a response from John Lewis and they stated that they will not price match. Seems like bs to me.

Not really since they are classed as different models completely if you look at other models in the Samsung range 6500 and 6510 one black one and one white, the black one is £799 the white over £900 everywhere same internals just different cases so different TVs.

dont know about colour but 6410 includes the freesat tuner.

The 6510 I got on the 55 4 k range was finished in pearl white.

just be Aware with these tvs struggle with motion blur.

I cannot see it there now either...the jl product code from my order is 82442164, but a search on that comes back with no results today. Looks like it has been replaced with a newer...and more expensive model.

Like I was saying, I expect they just changed the number to avoid the price match because it looks the same to me.

Heat for great price, but I'm holding out for a 48-50" HDR set in the £5-600 range.

Richer sounds would not price match as the warranty was not the same, if you add warranty it comes to same price

6410 has freesat on it, compared to the 6400, so there is a difference in JL

what's this like compared to the js8500??

I called them and they took into account Crampton & Moore's optional 5 year discount when calculating my discount. Richer Sounds Price Beat.
